Hoping some of y'all can help, I just picked up a 76 F250 open knuckle Dana 44 front axle.
1. I can't find what seal/thrush washer I need for the outer stub shaft.
2. Should there be a seal where the inner axle shaft goes into the axle housing? Neither side had one but it looks like there should be one. I can't find a part# for that either.

2100, I would contact Torque King. There are a lot of weird things that happened in that year range, IIRC.

But I think this one MIGHT be what you're after.

I know that says Dodge and Int'l, but I've seen the Ford's take those too.... unless it was some sort of a swap later on.

That's one thing that always drove me bonkers about Dana's.

Let me grab some pics of what I'm talking about. I'm not sure of the name, just going by what someone called it in a Dana/spicer sponsored video.
I may have to call them cz no one has been able to help on the FTE website.

It's also part of this piece if you jump to 4:20.

So I need a slinger shield, thrust washer, and seal? (That's what I get out of the videos.) Cz I can't find any of the parts or mention of the parts anywhere.

Anytime I look for a slinger I just get carrier/pinion parts

Yes 2100. Metal slinger, the V wiper seal are what are in there. Sold the hell out of them over the years. Same set up on the GM's.

thanks! Is the washer usually reusable or do you know the proper name for it? Or should there even be a washer? I have a washer on mine... but as I tear into this axle... the locking hubs were put on wrong, the axle nuts were installed wrong, he broke a u joint and trashed the driver side axle shafts... the vent tube was stripped... but other than that its good lol so I dont trust anything that I am seeing on this axle. Sorry for the dumb questions... first time with an open knuckle axle.

On the washer, are you describing the one between the two outer lock nuts? If so those are readily available.

Oh damn. You mean the thrust washer. Any good 4x4 outlet will have those available. 6 States comes to mind. I'm not sure who is who in your area.

There is also a rubber washer for the end of the spindle shaft to keep dirt out. Might as well grab 2 while you are there for the slinger and seal.
