I though Ohio and I were discussing end links independent of any particular car.

Pretty off topic but any of you guys ever use Copart? I just picked this up and I’m thinking of maybe getting another 97-03 F150 project through them someday. Most likely after my current F150 project is finished, Lol!

I was cogitating on my Acura engine compartment light project when I realized the only place I can find 12VDC under the hood is the battery post connector. I thought, "No big deal, I'll just pull power off a parking light."

The #$%& parking lights turn off 30 seconds after the door is closed. What he he11 good are parking lights if you can't leave them on while the vehicle is parked?

P.S. I like the big honkin' solenoid connector on the 10th-gens. Boy, that's convenient!

..

This sitting home is getting to me. Not that I want to go out so much, it's just so much online for sale I haven't seen before. This can become problematic. LOL

Today I ordered a new left side mirror glass for my oem signal mirrors on Red. I have the towing mirrors right now on him, but after the glass gets here, I'm going to swap back to the painted signal mirrors. The square towing mirrors will then go on Blue. That will be much better than the elephant ear type I put on him originally. I forgot about them. I should throw them up on the marketplace. They aren't doing me any good in the closet Might as well share the wealth, lol

Hello thinkers, I figured if anywhere is the right place to post this it’s here. So I am playing with the idea of adding an auxiliary OEM power distribution box in the place of the windshield washer reservoir. I NEVER use it so no harm no foul. Adding it will help clean up some under hood wiring that’s going on. Between the aftermarket horn, backup camera, led reverse lights, 20” light bar up front, 2 led pods, and 3 aftermarket gauges in the overhead, wiring is a mess, not horrible but definitely not something to show off. If I can find a pin out for it, determine what terminals it uses, and figure out a bracket to mount it, then I’ll be able to add it, and it will look completely factory. I haven’t bought it yet but This is the one I’ll be using. Any thoughts? Suggestions? When doing this I’ll also be doing the big 4 with 1/0 gauge wire.

I finally did it.... I decided it's time to start playing with Linux. I am currently putting Red Hat 7.8 on an old Dell Optiplex 390 that I've had laying around the office for a while. Do any of you play with Linux at all? If so, can you offer up any good resources for learning, and also maybe a place to get apps?

Whitey......do like me. Go to one of the Raspberry Pi sites/forums and you will get all in info on Linux you will ever need. The Pi's run on a Linux program. Ubandtu (sic), and numerous platforms are there for free downloading. Lots of Maker sites also, use Linux. Good hunting.

I got it all installed and apparently you have to check "install with GUI" during the install.... sooooo... I'm starting over.

Thanks for the info, AK. I think my Pi has a version of RH on it, now that you mention that.
