P. S. AK - Any bites on Blue? It would sell in a hot minute out here.
No, since I haven't cleaned him up yet. My back went out this past week and is just now coming back online. LOL. I'll finish my motorhome awning recanvas, then I'll do Blue's clean up and post him for sale. Thanks for asking.

Maybe they can look for the $10,000 treasure so they have $ to fix their rigs. Most of the RV's don't have "Rent Me" all over them so I assume they would be privately owned. News articles seems like a couple rescues but no one hurt or worse.

That jeep in that article doesn't look that bad. I would have thought no fatalities from that. Guess it all depends on many factors though, like seat belt wear, overall speed, etc.

Look like I got a nice weekend coming. Good to have some cooler temps and a couple days rainless.

Yes, UT has a TON of residents that own their own RV's, trailers, etc.

I'm not too sure what he was driving, but I was told that it was a really bad accident prior to even knowing he was involved. My parents don't live far from the location of the accident.

This is my weekend outlook....

So I know this isn't "what did you do today, but this is where all the OG's hangout. ... for those of you that have done rockers how did you join them? I bought a gas mig setup so I want to do it right. I've heard butt welding with both pieces bent in, filling the channel then body fill and paint. That's where I'm at. I've got both sides coming from Raybuck. Inners are in great shape. But doing both outers. Any tips or things you wish you would have done different? @jbrew I thought i remember you tackling this years ago.

I got afa you did, passenger side. I had mine clamped up contemplating the same thing you are. I believe my plan was re -spotting at factory locations, then incorporating either a formulation/grade of Butyl (semi workable butyl) or Body Adhesive to seal it up. Also planned to use a marine zinc phosphate for the inside.

Yea, that how actually far and got with it, and contemplating the next step.....what I actually would of done buttoning it up, not sure... - I didn't make that far. Sold my place, - the truck project temporarily back burnered.... It's too far gone now.

Damn, if you were closer, I could of got rid of those Raybuck Rockers I have in the rafters. 1.5 sets. A SC 97-98 drivers side Rocker/Cab corner. - Also a SC set for 99-03/04...both sides.

I can't recall what Jay did. I think I have his link saved somewhere....Yea, start about here, -

Thanks for that link!!! And man.... I went back and forth about just plugging them and worrying about it 5 years from now.... I didn't want to be digging into it like this BUT... your right, I think I caught it just in enough time where I can save the inners easy and not be too far into the repair. I want this truck to last me until I'm 80! Thank you for that link! I'm picking a lot of people's brains. Never done a sheet metal repair like this before and I only want to do it once lol
