Yeah, it's great that I insulated the garage, and my tank-top propane heater can get the temp up to 60+ pretty easily, but when the tools are still at 35 or 40 (and the car parts sometimes even less).....

Give it 10 or 15 years, you'll be shopping for those 12 pack jersey glove deals like the rest of us lol.

Hand warmers are great. I prefer a garage warmer though. That is the single best feature of my house, LOL.

The ground.... that does stay cold, but I combat that with a creeper.

I don't know what garages have to do with it. We weren't talking about that....just being outside. Like say tractor stuff, shoveling snow, sledding, etc..

Yeah when we move my barn will become heated ... right now our garage barely fits the truck so I have to leave the garage door open to work on it.. so I don't waste money heating a garage with the door open lol

Yes sir, a hard, cold cement floor cuts right through to the bones. My garage isn't heated but I have those radiant heaters that go on propane tanks and they are better than nothing. The problem with them is they are usually feast or famine when it comes to heat. I can be working in one place and it's too hot but I can move 5 feet in any direction and it can be like the heat doesn't know that spot exists. It also often takes a couple of hours before the heat reaches the floor. I can be sweating from the waist up and freezing from the waist down. I passed on central heat because open one of the garage doors and heating the place starts all over.

I don't know if any of you are interested in this, but do you remember when Microsoft was letting you upgrade for free from Windows 7/8/8.1 to Windows 10? That date came and passed a couple of years ago, but I've been doing some research and found that it still works for about 90% of the time. As long as you are running a 64 bit OS, and are going straight across with the version (Home, Professional, Ultimate) it will work most of the time. I had a clean install on a Dell Optiplex 790 that I just did it on. At first Windows 10 said it was not activated - so I put the Windows 7 code in and it activated.

I am going to try it on some other stuff I have laying around that I can play with. But yeah, I am super excited. I would just forewarn you that you had better make sure there are Windows 10 drivers available beforehand. If you want more details, I can post.
