You have to remove the throttle body and cable/bracket. I always leave the EGR plate in tact. The drivers side comes right off on mine because of the Downs Ford upper.

So... my Buddy up the street asked me to come up and see the new wheels and tires he got for his 05 GT. They are thick! He had black Bullitt's on it before... and I told him "I like those wheels too", and he said "good, because they're yours". Man... I was floored. He also put the big brake package on it, and said I can take the original brakes off it. Frankie just might be kicking more *** soon!

I think I got the valve covers sealed up, finally! I had to grind about an inch off each side of the VC on the lip. Then I got some Right Stuff and stuck them to the covers. Did it all in about an hours time. It sure is an easy car to work on.
Get a warranty on the slippers, they don't last long with a grinder or torch in the area......can also be somewhat painful. Not that I'VE ever experienced anything like that....yea right...
_______

Glad getting them sealed wasn't that big of a deal.

Had a memory creep up me this morning while filling a 5 gallon can of gas. I was 14 working my first job at a full service gas station changing the sign to 88.9 per gallon. Man how things have changed...

My family owned a grocery store when I was a kid, and I still remember a man yelling at the cashier because paying a "whole dollar" for a pack of cigarettes was an outrage.

What are they now, ten bucks?
