I have a Buddy that repairs phones on the side, and he agreed with me that the S7 is the hardest phone to replace the screen on.
Well.... Yeah, a $50 backup could be good insurance. I'm SOL, as the Edge isn't eligible.

The S7 is a damn good phone.... my S10 is a lot quicker, but I really, really loved that S7. I also loved my S3 until that flat out quit turning on.

I've always been a Motorola guy, but Samsung definitely makes a good slab 'o glass.

My Droid X was the shiddiest phone I've ever owned. It was complete junk.... making calls by itself and placing calls that were not the person I told it to, but displaying the correct info was the straw that broke it for me. I had another one of the old flip phones (post Startac) and it was also really buggy. I went to LG for one phone, and had a lot of problems there too.

My Samsung's have been my favorite phones. One thing that keeps me sold is, I really appreciate that they still support their older phones with updates. My 7 was still getting all of the software and security updates. Not too sure if Moto is doing that too? I did however just switch to a Motorola modem. I found out why my internet would suddenly drop out for a minute, then come right back (very annoying). The Intel Puma chipset is loaded with problems. Check this out: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/0..._puma_6_arris/

EDIT: Just did a speed test again.... the new modem is quicker on D/L and U/L's. Not too bad for a 25/5 service, LOL. BTW, I've currently got one TV and two Chromebooks streaming video, and it's still above the advertised speeds.

On another note.... I was going to put New Edge spindles and rotors/brakes on my Mustang.... I've got them and everything. But I got to talking to a Buddy and decided that will give me a lot of steering issues because the New Edge tie rods sit in a different position. So, I am bought SVO / Mark VII rotors for it. I am going to allocate SVO calipers with the larger pistons as well. This makes things a little easier, and I won't need to mess with the steering mess. I am pretty pissed that the Federal Mogul (National) bearings are Chinese made now though. DO I use them, or buy Koyo or Timkens instead?

Droid X or Moto X? In either case, we've had them both and had absolutely no issues with either one. In fact, until recently, I was using the DX as a music player. The screen has finally gone a bit wonky, though. The MX is still a viable backup.

Im still waffling on a new router or going with a mesh setup. Having to stop & start Wi-Fi to regain connections is getting old.

More stoppage ability is always nice. Are you posting your progress on Corral?

2100 thank you but I do not buy any 400 cid engine, period. Not the Ford, Dodge or Chev. Ford's 400 is a square motor. 4 inch bore and 4 inch stroke. AND NO oil pressure. lol. That is one Ford engine I stay away from.. JMO, of course.

Droid X. Worst phone I've ever had. Damn near went Apple for a minute after this.... but I'd talked so much crap about Apple that I didn't want to eat crow, LOL.

Oh, and no... haven't been on the Corral for a long time. The only progress lately is getting a couple parts though.
