With a food grade stainless double barb on the front side and a flared at the rear.

Food grade is high flow and fit the original plastic like fuel line (hose portion) perfectly.

You won't find that mod on the interwebs lol.

Wise decision but have no idea of what you're referring to with barb fittings. You do though and that's what matters. I've gone to all AN fittings for the coyote under the hood and figured I do the same all the way to the pump. I really dislike those quick disconnects.

Thanks! Yea I did that almost 20 years ago. I'll get some pics if that's were the leak is. Changed the FF every 9000 miles, so screwing around with those disconnects made it a pain.

About a decade ago many were using AN fittings for oil filter relocation kits on these trucks. That was on another site tho.

Hi All,

A question for the thinkers...

Currently the truck has an open rear diff but fancy changing it to a LSD as it's pretty easy to spin up a single rear tire in the wet when pulling away on some of our local roads even without really trying... Doh

Should also help with traction when towing my travel trailer especially since a lot of sites here in the UK are grass

I know the easy way to do this is just find an axle and swap the whole thing but being in the UK, that's not really practical to do...

What do I need to buy to change things over, is it just the main part like these?

https://www.americantrucks.com/f150-...iers-9703.html

Or is there still more parts to buy?

I know have a 9.75 Diff and I'm guessing it will be 34 spline since it looks like the 8.8 is 31

Any recommendations for parts would be appreciated

Cheers

Adrian.

I still have to pick a kit up for the Coyote. There are about a half a dozen different designs available and I haven't decided which way I want to go yet. Patman went with burying his filter between the back of the engine and frame. It's a workable solution but I'd like to find a location with an easier access so I've been patient about picking up a kit. What's this kit you've shown off of?
