Thinking
DST, Daylight Savings Time lol ?
The Makita speed chucks (like the one I posted) are the best I've used...yes, better than jacobs. Never needed a key with it, durable never slips, jams and it's fast. 1/4" x 3/8. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are a tad on the heavy side.
Finding a chuck replacement might be difficult for that dewalt, not sure. I haven't had good luck swapping chucks on cordless drills in the past.

I was watching this video, and also looked around on the Google. Sounds like it's a fairly common issue where the chuck gets loose just from the drill spinning.
Wow, yea that would suck coming loose like that, specially right in the middle of doing something. The accessory would fall out on the floor, drill bit get stuck in the wood...yea , that would blow lol.
Sounds like mine did to where it eventually just went out completely. The torque converters are a weak link on these.... and they start coming apart internally, which plugs the filter and cooks the trans. I am pretty sure (so is my Buddy) that my case is cracked on mine. It drives, but it has some problems still. I am going to pick up a completely different trans for it, and also completely bypass the radiator for cooling, as well as add an external cooler..... that is if I keep it. I'm half tempted to sell it and buy something else for my daughter to drive.
The Machinist's Handbook has some great information on drilling and drill bits. It has charts in it covering 2, 3 and 4 flute drill bits, flute spiral length, point angles, optimum drilling speeds and coolants. This info is then applied to charts for different materials to be drilled along with explanations about why and how the recommendations are what they are. I learned the value of the book after melting some bits on stainless steel.

I hate that they tacked it onto the mustang line
Actually.... let me say this. I'ts not THAT bad looking.... but yes, why the hell tack it into the Mustang line? I've seen these memes tossed around in the Mustang FB groups with the Mustang II and the Mach-e that say "I'm the ugliest Mustang" on the Mustang II, then the Mach-e says "Not Anymore". Bull$4!t, I'll take a Mach-e over a Mustang II all day, any day.

Just like how the new trailblazer flopped... wasn't THAT bad and I'm sure would be a decent suv but they HATED that it wasn't a true trailblazer
