I don't think the first will fly with the current DC admin as trucking is regulated by the interstate commerce commission and I remember reading that truck are allowed to operate anywhere as long as they are registered anywhere in US, Canada, or Mexico. If CA tries to pull the registration, the companies will just move out and register in another state. Around here almost all tractors & trailers are registered in NC as it is a one time fee small yearly fee (like $10/yr).
They would need to wait until someone else is in DC to move it forward.
I want clean air but there is a difference in working with people for the common good and being a government thug.
I'm glad I don't live in California!

I only live in the People's Commonwealth of Virginia and I thought we had some tyrannical laws.

I get the concept, and agree with the idea that something needs to be done to cut pollution, but this doesn't sound like the right route...

Saturday will make this thread 3 years old. Red is still around and gets a new heart this month. I think we have covered the gambit while you've been MIA.

Vehicles weighing between 14,000 pounds and 26,000 pounds are also subject to the regulations, and must meet the following compliance schedule:
- 2004 and older must comply by Jan. 1, 2020
- 2005-2007 must comply by Jan. 1, 2021
- 2008-2010 must comply by Jan. 1, 2023
Sheetrock, and then texturing it. I decided that I am going to do everything but mudding on this. That is the part that I always get hung up on. I've been mudding the same room for almost 2 years now, and have another large room that is ready for mud. Those guys that do it professionally will knock it out in a couple days... LOL.
