Yeah, I'm glad I stuck it out and got the experience under my belt now. Last night he told me the crank sensor connector keeps falling off when he guns it, so he was going to replace it last night. The lock is broken off the connector, so it slides on and off rather easily. I spent my night dealing with plumbing issues, ir I woulda helped him. I had to cut the nut off my basin drain in the kitchen with a dremel... found a hole in the side of the disposal, and also see where the faucet has been leaking..... so, yeah, fun times over here. Going to call the home warranty place about the disposal tonight..... Pretty sure they'll throw a new one in it for 65 dollars.

Dremels are always handy as hell. Been there, changed a disposal that developed a rust hole. It was sort of strange, the disposal wasn't that old and rusted in a an almost perfect circle lol.

I've been upgrading the plumbing on the trailer, - better Pex and Pump. Freeze/ leak proof pex w/metal fittings. This stuff doesn't require a clamp.

This one has several "rust spots" all in a perfect line. Only one has developed into a hole. I noticed what appeared to be small dried pieces/fibers of food on the cabinet door when I opened it.... which I thought was strange. The rubber seal on the drain pipe coming out of the disposal was bad.... so I repaired it. When I had the Wife turn on the water so I could watch it, that's when I noticed the hole. Wish I would have noticed it before I did the rubber seal because I took a good amount of time cleaning up that flange, lol. I swapped out the other basin drain with a really heavy duty Kohler piece.... this one looks like it's machined instead of cast. The old one busted all to hell when I tried to hold it in place while I turned the nut.

Also wound up getting a new Kohler faucet setup.... because that is ALSO leaking up top. First time I've ever dealt with a one hole faucet.... I'm still thinking I shoulda just replaced the whole entire sink with a stainless..... then I would have wanted new counter tops too though. You know how things go, lol.

BTW, what pex wizardry doesn't require a clamp?

My house has that older gray pex-wannabe stuff under the kitchen sink. That'll be gone soon. Also just replaced one of those lines when I put in two new toilets (Also both of those are Kohler).

The Kohler theme isn't intentional, lol. I'm usually a Moen guy.

Yea, I know how that goes, I was replacing just the cheap plastic bathroom fixtures...now I'm redoing the plumbing. I didn't realize how cheap the fixtures were, hardly used them and they look good. But man are they cheap, like 12 bucks cheap on Amazon lol. Kohler has the good shower heads now, with removable restrictors. Moen use to be the best there. Think I'm going with a Kohler sink faucet in the bath as well.

Heading to the Depot for a Carbon Monoxide detector.

I need to get me a better CO detector for my living room.... I know I have a brand new CO/Fire combo detector somewhere in a box, but I'll be damned if I can find it.

Now you know why I have so much crap sitting around. Can't find it, buy another. Damn, now I find it. Normal in my world too.

Whitey....how'd the new little gun work out, other than stripping out 80 in/lbs screws? Did you retap the hole and put in a SAE screw? Glad that the 3V is up and going right. These engines need a somewhat solid timing point, but one tooth with these cams, doesn't make them run very well, especially with VCT;s. I'm sure that would be hard on the solenoids too.

Yes I'm sure that was why I was getting codes for no signal (or whatever the exact wording was) on one side for the solenoid. Those codes are gone now. I haven't used my little impact much. I took it over to his place to try and speed up the process, but not much you can do with 2 guns, lol. So, his was what we used. It sure does speed things up though. For the record, it was neither me, nor my gun that stripped the screws for the coils, LOL.

Do you guys know of any car warranty providers you'd recommend? He's wanting to do a warranty on it now.... but I don't ever do stuff like that.
