Ak, here's about 5-10 mins worth of cleaning up the spindle with the "shoe polish method". Going to put some more elbow grease into it tomorrow.

I also noticed in one of pics with the 35's the front wheels had sort of pulled back look, into the wheel well. The gen 10's would get that look that also , IF/when the bars had a lot of crank to them. I'm not sure how it works with your model, but it had that look, the cranked look I guess you could call it.

That two tone on bottom, is it dark enough for yuh ? Your old truck was a little darker down low, had more of a charcoal grey look to it. Thought that was kind of unique and looked good. You thinking of doing the same with this one?
I'm thinking it looks two tone looks subdued because it's against a darker red instead of the race red. I have some of my dark shadow gray paint I'm going to paint a tab and see if it's the same color. I keep seeing solid colored fx4s but no 2-tones in a 12th gen. I think that may be why I gravitated to it

I think the wheels looked pulled in because I didnt have the wheel turned straight. They seem to be the same inset as the rears as it sits right now.

That makes sense. What's up with those rectangular plastic covers in the front bumper ? Curious, at one time I thought they were driving or fog light covers. I don't think so, haven't seen what's underneath those things yet....what are they?

As far as I can tell they dont serve any purpose. I need to look into what people have been doing with them. Maybe mount some 5" hellas or something there. Could be cool.

Edit: or the warns with the black grills
