From the F150 winter Chronicles comes a view from the I-80 on-ramp this morning.....
Honda and Jetta drivers suck in any situation, it's just more prevalent under these conditions. Was I-80 where they had that 15 truck wipe-out the other night ? I was listening to that video you linked in the background while doing something else, that ran right after it. Came back to shut off , said it was live.

Amway, yea, there's a good chance of that icy stuff here tonight, then more snow and back to the freezing rain. A potential mess in the forecast.

Didn't see those, that was a little bit of work, looks good! Close enough to perfect. What I really like ,- you didn't go crazy with the grinder/sander and tended to leave the welds little on the high side....where you could. Over grinding is a sin lol.
So now your after a set of solid doors, hows that workin out?

2100....I didn't see those right sides pics either. Looking so much better. Kudos.

It's been staying just under 32 the past day or so, but the roads are a sheet of ice, especially intersections. Just enough air moisture to keep them slick. Sucks.

Today is the calm before the storm..... it's supposed to dump on us for several straight days, starting tomorrow. Starting to think I should just drive the F150 all week.

Thought you guys might like this testing video.... It's Valvoline vs. Mobil 1 vs. Amazon Basics oil.

Thanks guys. Definitely put in a lot work on the cab so far.

I'm torn on my doors, 95% of my door is rock solid except for the bottom drain channel and two small holes that were bondo'ed and leak water when it rains. There's a lot of weird curves and metal overlapping on the drain channel that I might just get new doors (the guy that has the axle has some doors I'm going to look at.) if the price is right I'll put clean ones on and keep mine for a rainy day.

I'm not really surprised by the performance of the AmazonBasics oil. They seem to contract with quality suppliers for their house-branded products. Nice to see some performance test results, though.

2100: Nice work. I'd get the new doors, and scrap the old ones. Keeping them for a rainy day when they leak when it rains seems counter-intuitive.

White: Stay safe over there, and send some of that white stuff this way, will you?

Brew: You, too. But freezing rain? No thanks.

AK: Glad to hear you're on the mend, finally. Any thoughts on that tailgate assist? I'm thinking of ordering one this spring to experiment with.

You too....we had 3" last night on top of the 2" from the other night. Then freezing rain sleet, you can walk across the snow with breaking through lol. More snow in the next few days, 2-4" they say, and again freezing rain /sleet.. like a jack frost sandwich. Almost slipt my mind, that's all with 30mph winds haha. ...oh brother.

Remain indoors or you'll be statued within moments.

Well scratch the statue stuff, can't walk the freezing stuff no longer... weird. The temp went up quick, you break through the crust walking on it now and you can make a snowman if desired. Yea, it's good packing snow lol. I was reading the weather advisory earlier and hadn't seen the temps yet. Yea , they're going up, 34* today and 41* by Thursday. Then back down to the 20's and 10 at night. Man weather has been goofy, up and down, cold front ,warm front.
