Oh thanks for the link last night AK. I was basically doing like what a shoe shiner does when he shines the tops of shoes; just goes back and forth. I will see if I can try that method without it slipping off. Hopefully I can get to it this week.

New tires went on today. Everything about the ride is better and I have my turning radius back.

They rubbed the lower control arm turning left.

And they rubbed the sway bar turning right.

Sitting just about right.

Tread is pretty blocky for an AT.

I think they'll be okay in the mud, the outer lugs have enough spacing. Those are some lugs, like Super Swamper style. Yea, you want every bit of turning radius. A better ride was expected since the 35's were pretty much wore out.

I can't tell which looked better, prob looks proportional now. The 35's didn't look bad on there, but yea, sacrificing too much with them without a lift.

Feels like newer compared to yesterday...already getting it muddy, new that wouldn't take long. When are you going to check that locker out ? Get pics lol.

I am very happy with them so far. I could barely turn into a parking spot last night at the grocery store with the 35s even with backing up twice. Between that and the bump steer those had to go asap. I liked the way the 35s looked better sitting still but that was about it.

I was showing a landowner around this morning on the old slicks so I tried out the 4x4 and it works perfectly. When the time comes to give the locker a work out the will absolutely be pictures. Lol

I feel like the wheels and headlights are too bright for the rest of the truck though. I may plastidip the wheels a gray and see if I like it or not.

Looks like you've got a nice one, JP! Plasti-dipped wheels (where have I seen that before?) would look good, and FX4 heads and tails would be a required mod for me.

Thank You Ohio! Im not sure where you could have seen that before. lol It already has the dark Fx4 tails. In the first couple years of this gen it doesn't look like they came with black heads, but they are definitely on my list.

I promise I will quit spamming soon. I just value y'alls opinions.

Make sure to use flat laces instead of round ones to spread the pressure around on the surface. I did this on an outboard driveshaft that had been left neglected too long with no leaks or water intrusion yet.

Yea, that lack of radius would of drove me nuts. Bump steer can make it seem like your in desperate need of front end work. Tires were too tall for that set up for one(pinched radius), and the fact that they were about toast amplifies or make it seem loose. I also noticed in one of pics with the 35's the front wheels had sort of pulled back look, into the wheel well. The gen 10's would get that look that also , IF/when the bars had a lot of crank to them. I'm not sure how it works with your model, but it had that look, the cranked look I guess you could call it.

That two tone on bottom, is it dark enough for yuh ? Your old truck was a little darker down low, had more of a charcoal grey look to it. Thought that was kind of unique and looked good. You thinking of doing the same with this one?
