I know this would be a good price for clear harley heads... but these arent OEM... Says EagleEye as the manufacturer, will these just be cheap tawain knockoffs? While im replacing headlights I noticed the escape has moisture in the PS and the DS has had spider cracks since we bought it; found some cheap at a local yard... got me thinking about replacing my yellowed stock housings in my truck with the harley heads but I dont want to spend any extra money on this truck than i need to right now. so thoughts on this ebay set? https://www.ebay.com/itm/97-03-Ford-...FRlY:rk:6:pf:0

My heads are eagle eye brand. I haven't had any issues with them at all.

I have Eagle Eye's in boxes downstairs in storage. I need a 98+ header panel before they can go in. They seem like the quality is great though.

Well definitely saw an improvement in the escapes headlights... especially Hi beams! Was literally a night and day difference lol

But also noticed the PS was not as bright as the DS and I'm almost positive that's because of the moisture in the assembly... so now to find her a decent set that doesn't break the bank.

Hopefully will get my truck bulbs in tomorrow.

Also does anyone know the brand of bulb that came outta the escape? OSRAM.... surely not the OEM bulbs right??? All 4 bulbs were OSRAM

2100, yeah, those are the same brand that were in mine.... they are tied in to Sylvania somehow. I can't remember if that is their German brand, or just what. But I looked it up at the time, and I've forgotten.

EDIT: This can explain it better than me. I read it as OSRAM owns Sylvania's lighting portion of the business. So basically, this is why their bulbs are great - and their other items, like TV's, Blu-Ray players, etc. are so-so - that is what I got out of it, anyway.... LOL. When I replaced mine, I remember thinking "this is the first Ford I owned that didn't have Sylvania bulbs in it". Heck, I think even the OEM tail lights said OSRAM on them.
