Whitey's car center. We stand behind our brake jobs and in front of our tune-ups.

Welp made the first ED trip with the 6month old. Everything is ok, she's healthy as can be. Was making some labored breathing noises, wife is on 28hr call, I'm home alone getting ready to put her to bed and it sounds like she can't breath. Long story short, apparently she just likes making new noises! . Oh well, at least she got to see her mom for a few minutes (she was able to come down to the ED while we were there) and she got a flu shot since our clinic was out last visit.

I now know why everyone is bald and or grey after having kids! It's frickin stressful! I don't know what I'd do if anything ever happened to her.

I hear you... literally. My oldest daughter was born at 34 weeks. We spent 16 days in the NICU. It was such a stressful time, and I wouldn't want to relive that for anything. When we brought her home, she would sometimes have a long pause between breaths. Me and the Wife used to alternate nights of staying up to listen to her breathe.

Yeah I told the wife if I hadn't gone in, i don't think I would've slept a wink that night. I would've probably stayed up in her room just focusing on her breathing. When the wife is working overnight my biggest fear is our daughter will stop breathing for some reason and I won't hear it on the monitor. can't wait till residency is over and she never works nights again! Lol

It's funny tho, when she's home, I'm basically a dead log all night, but when it's just me, I wake up to every little noise.

The joys of being a Dad. Believe it or not, at some point you will miss these times - even if they are scary.

Here's something that has crossed my mind so many times.... but now that it's actually a SPARE vehicle for now, it sounds even more intriguing. It sucks because there isn't a lot of info that I can find on this subject.... BUT, I keep thinking that I want to do a manual swap on my Escape. I've done 3 auto to manual swaps on Mustangs.... easy peasy. I know how the parts situation goes.... but my biggest issue is the programming of the ECU. I imagine it will wig out when it's not getting feedback from the trans.

AK, you wouldn't happen to have any info or sources for this, would you?

EDIT: New and old sitting together....

Are there any details about it that you know? Possibly a thread even?

I['ve been wanting to put up a weather station pretty much since we moved out here, because it can get pretty crazy, and I thought it would be fun to track. I also thought my parents might like to see what's happening out here weather wise, since they can see it via webcam. I finally broke down and picked up an [url=https://www.ambientweather.com/amws2902.html]Ambient Weather 2902A station, which was delivered Friday.

I put it up in a temporary (or as my wife said, "Temporary!") location for testing Friday evening.

I thought I'd leave it on the deck for a week or two, but it seemed to be working fine, so I moved it to its permanent home this afternoon.

This should show a little "weather box" with data from the station...

EDIT: Nope. It doesn't.

...and my parents (and anybody else, for that matter) can see the conditions and history on Wunderground any time.

Should be pretty cool to track stuff.

EDIT2: I realized after looking at things that I may have to move the mount to the south side of the pole so its shadow doesn't fall on the unit and skew the solar readings. They're not really important, but I want to have everything as 100% as possible.
..
