Probably got a lot of "but does it pass XYZ?"

"It's the same thing"

"But did it pass XYZ?"

That's possible... didn't think about that.

JP, here's my box. 3yrs later. You can see where the carpet pulled back, that's from my cousins boots (I know this because that spot gets muddy after he rides in my truck). And I know audio isn't always great over video, but if you want to here how that box sounds with a 10" sub firing I can record some songs. (I take requests if you want lol)

Thank you 2100. That is a good looking box. I'll let you know when I come up with a set list. Lol

I may have to go ahead and get a full system planned around their specs

Figured I'd do it once and never have to touch them again. Replacing the shocks as well since at least the driver's side one is blown and probably the passenger as well. About the only things I'm not replacing at this point is the brakes (which are better than expected) and the steering knuckle. Tempted to paint the brake calipers to match the shocks but I may be too lazy for that. Did go ahead and buy a new set of keys for the torsion bars so can kill those as well. Now just need to find a big enough hammer to knock the bar out.

ETA: I think the passenger side does though but haven't gotten that far yet. It was noisy the whole time I've owned the truck.
I think you have cook caliper paint in the oven anyway. Yea, I'd get in too much trouble attempting that. So it was fear for me lol.

When I started this project I was planning on replacing the rotors, calipers, and pads but they are about the only thing on this truck right now that are decent (exaggerating slightly.) Not really worth bothering painting the calipers since whenever I do the brakes I'll probably spend the extra and do the full refresh anyways.

You can upgrade to Expedition/7700 calipers and rotors up front for the same cost..might even be cheaper. Much better than what your truck came with.

Have been considering that upgrade as well. Be a couple months before I do that though, still need to get the mustang running and back up here first.
