I dropped off my truck yesterday for service and asked for 21G01 to be done. “Unable to update after multiple attempts, contact hotline, will need to reschedule when update is ready.”

 

PTS/Oasis only shows OTA updates so nothing you did manually will show up there but I see your Sync version is being reported as SYNC4 v4.0.21281. Updates in FDRS are listed below but the GSM one keeps showing up even after it's updated so I would only consider the ACM as new

 

^thanks for confirming. i'll probably leave it as is then. i tried both of those twice and they didn't disappear. was hoping after sleeping they would disappear.

 

Worth a try, I guess. My VIN was in the screenshots I posted which is directly from Ford's dealer software. I am guessing whoever runs the account on here is someone in PR that relays the issue to someone and not someone technical who is going to try and fix it themself.

 

Some of us had no choice. Our "Automatic updates" slider was stuck "OFF" and greyed out, so we could not enable it. Mine was stuck back on 27 DEC 2021.

 

They aren't relaying anything. They are just posting public messages, pretending to be concerned so others think they are engaged.

 

Hey all, my last update was 1.7.1 in March. Should it be getting another update soon, or do I need to see the Dealership?

 

My slider was grayed out too. I just wasn't stuck on 1.7.1. That, of course, needs to be handled by a dealer visit.

If you could run me another FDRS history and outstanding SW updates, I would appreciate it. VIN # 1FTFW1E50MFB04459. Pretty sure OTA history will likely be blank, though.
