I took the truck to the dealer where they applied TSB 21-2249 to reload and recalibrate the IPMA. Afterwards everything was operating correctly.

Now, oddly enough I am starting to see weird things happen with my Adaptive Cruise once again. After 2 months of working flawlessly, it is now turning off Adaptive Cruise every time I turn off the truck. To get it working again, I have to turn on Adaptive Cruise, go into the menu and manually turn SSR on (or off then on depending on whether it maintained the SSR setting from the previous key cycle). Then it works fine until I turn the truck off again, at which point I have to redo that process again. It is not saving my selections like it used to do. It is a really pain in the rump. I have been seeing some instances of data downloading to the truck, so hoping that there is a multi-part OTA being delivered and once applied, all of these functions will start working again. Maybe wishful thinking, but I am holding out hope... I really don't want to have to take it back to the dealership for another 2 day period without my vehicle (no loaners readily available, back when I took the truck in before there was a 4-6 week queue if I needed a loaner).
I called my dealership, but they said they had no idea about forcing the BlueCruise update that I had heard/read about that the dealerships SHOULD be able to do by the end of 1Q 2022.

I also specifically mentioned that I was getting at least 4 or 5 of the erroneous error messages identified in TSB 21-2249. I have an appointment for THAT on 03 MAR 2022, but I told them I didn't want to have to bring it in TWICE: Once to apply the fix for the TSB and again for the BlueCruise update that isn't happening OTA for me. Mine rolled off the assembly line on 23 FEB 2021.

I have 2 nearly identical Platinum high Job 1 trucks. I initiated buy back from ford over this, they denied yesterday and that I could go to arbitration but go pound sand an dhave a nice day.
I'm going to take it to arbitration as this is complete bull****.

FYI they told me that it is now Q2 2022 not Q1 2022 for the OTA update or at the dealer ...

@Ford Motor Co. are you listening???

This is beyond acceptable, the Job 2 trucks rolled off the line with Blue Cruise enabled.
When MS does this and promises ghost ware to get you to spend the 6M to update to D365 its is not acceptable either .

i hope so. The number of bugs/gremlins in this version makes me doubt Ford did any validation testing prior to release.

definitely makes a person wonder…. I have driven a Ford for over 25 years and this experience is definitely making me reassess what my next purchase will be…. It is a shame they can’t seem to get their act together, especially since technology is only going to get even more complex over time…. We can only continue to hope for some progress, but if the other poster is right about the Blue Cruise pushing out the Q2-22 now, it is becoming farcical…

I'm pretty pissed off that they couldn't fix my issues with Sync 4 as well. I already have a case number from Ford Motor Company. I hope they can light a fire under the *** of my dealer.

Going to push my case to arbitration.
I'm sick of it, I trade every 2 years, have 3 new 21' Fords and have had 7 in the last 4 years ...

Am I reading that transcribed message correctly in that it says SECOND HALF OF 2022 and not Second Quarter....? If that is accurate, this is now becoming worse than farcical... That means people who bought these vehicles with the added cost for the Prep package in good faith with the understanding they were going to get the Blue Cruise update Q3-21 are now looking, at best, Q3-22 if not worse...? Wow... Come on Ford, you are better than this. Or at least you used to be... I guess times they are a changin'.....

Shot in the dark, but has anyone noticed any differences between 2.4GHz wifi and 5GHz? 5 is generally faster, but I get a stronger signal with 2.4. As finicky as these trucks are I would not be surprised if it works better on one or the other.

Mine will not connect 5Ghz. I was not aware that it even could support 5Ghz...
