Ahhhh. I'm in sales, not service. I tinker around in there but I was never trained on how to use it.

My truck was stuck on 2.3.0 for almost 2 months. Then one day it just started downloading updates and I got 2.5.3 today. It might unstick itself, it might not. A lot of guys on here are having problems with their trucks when they take them to the dealer to get BlueCruise installed. Unless you absolutely have to have it, I would give the OTA time to work itself out.

After what Pioneer pointed out, I checked the release notes of your truck and it says you have version 1.7.1, so you are definitely on an old software. Try connecting your truck to WiFi and check for updates. If it says up to date, you're gonna have to take it to a dealer, I assume.

My local dealer says they aren't getting the software until May 17th, so I'm going to have to wait regardless.

Hi @rugedraw I am back again when I went and checked the software version it was blank. Also my automatic updates was toggled off so I tried to slide it to the on position and it doesn't move. Any suggestions or is it a trip to the dealer?

I think that Sync version 22028 is the lowest you can have BlueCruise with, but I forget the revision associated with it.

It looks like a trip to the dealer is warranted in your case.

But now since getting the truck back, the running boards no longer retract…. Sync menus and kick switch have no affect. Worked fine when the truck went in pre-21G01 update…. What a fiasco…. Truck going back Monday for the week I guess…

If you have Forscan, toggle the value to disable the power running boards and save. Reset the module, then toggle it back to enabled and they should start working again. Not sure if the lock switch will, but they'll at least work otherwise for you. I think there's a new revision of the service procedure to address this and other problems as well.
