Yes, I think that is the root of my issue. The 21G01 doesn't seem to update Sync.... But 2.5.X is needed for BC to work. 2.3.0 (21281-244) definitely doesn't work. It would be interesting to see what others are at who are also having the issues.

In what module does Sync4 reside...? Is that the APIM...? Just trying to look through the updates the service guys did and see if the corresponding one is on the list... Sorry for all the scattering of questions.

 

My dash shows same, was 21281 244 my phone says 2.3.0 this was all done last week BC works fine so far

 

Well, that blows my theory then... Hard to tell what the heck is wrong then.... I have a mash up of some stuff working and some stuff not... When I try to activate cruise control, I no longer get the image in the instrument cluster that shows the blue steering wheel with hands on it, nor does it change to the cool Blue Cruise icon I have seen other post. It just stays displaying the RPMs... Lane keeping turns on and off at its whim... SSR seems to be working.

 

So it looks like some have been performed. Does it also show the power up version now?

I have not received any notifcation from fordpass as others have.

 

That is when the maps expire. They will be updated before then. Look under Connected Services in you Ford Owners account for your BlueCruise expiration date,

 

ok thanks my dealer was checking on that, since I have the only truck with BC that they have sold it is all a learning curve for them and me.
