If no APIM or IPC update popped up after the you did the TCU & GWM, then yes......you're as up to date as you can be until Ford releases more for you.

Do you know why it always shows a ACM update avail? Even if done over and over.

It's a glitch in FDRS. That's been going on for years. Any time I have an FDRS session, I run the ACM update once in case some new software did come out and just ignore it after that.

Okay, it passed the first time. Then fails each time afterwards. I'm assuming that's because it is up to date.

Not sure why it is failing; usually it goes through every time you try it. But if it went through once, you're fine. I would not stress it tbh.

-40°c. These fords are warm weather trucks!
Any way why does my emerg brake go on when I walk by the truck? Im 30' away in the shop and the emerg brake makes noise?

Hey everyone, first time posting but happy to be here and thanks to the forum.

I just purchased a 2021 F150 platinum and can’t get bluecruise to work. I’m on version 23291 and can’t figure out how to update it. I assume that’s the problem or maybe some module behind the dash screen? Not sure. I read about 100 pages here but got confused, if Rugedraw or someone can help me that would be awesome.

Your truck is not properly configured for BC to work. I have come across many trucks like yours, and what is required to fix it is not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. You will need FORScan to try to fix it. The config in the IPMA and the IPC both have Bluecruise disabled in favor of TJA (traffic jam assist). Therefore, Ford servers are not recognizing your truck as a Bluecruise capable truck.

If you have or are willing to get FORScan, I can help you correct the config to the best of my ability, but I cannot guarantee we can fix it for two reasons:

1) I am not familair with every single bit in every module and what it needs to be set to in order to correct the config for BC to work. There are some that are obvious to me, and I can tell you with 100% confidence that at the very least, the IPMA and IPC need to be reconfigured for BC to work.

2) Assuming that we do correct the config, you will still need an activation signal from Ford for BC to work since it is a cloud based service.

So, if you want to try to fix it yourself, I'll be happy to help as much as I can.

ok thanks for getting back to me, I just assumed the active prep 2.0 package meant it had bluecruise capability when I got it. It has lane centering and ACC and a hand on the wheel keeps it going down the road, just dumber than bluecruise I suppose. I think I can live without it, thanks again for the info!
