I wish I had your update luck. After three tries my dealer replaced the APIM two and a half weeks ago and I have received nothing. Truck is connected to the router in the garage and updates is on.

I feel your pain. I was also on that side of the fence for a long time until I found a dealer who could get me past the failed 1.7.1 update. And then I didn't get anything OTA until I got my battery replaced under warranty. That was what opened the gate for me. And all my updates were received without being connected to wifi. Hope yours will kick off soon.

Default Just Received 3.5.2 on a 2021 F150

Just FYI.

March 2021 build. Got the two unnumbered OTAs in early September then 3.5.2 yesterday.. 9/27/2022. So the earlier assumptions about 3.5.2 not being for 2021s seems incorrect.

I noticed that one issue I absolutely hated in Sync 4 has been changed for the better. I have no idea when it changed but it’s a welcome improvement.

Previously when the sync 4 display was toggled off with the hardware button, changing anything with the steering wheel or dash buttons would wake the entire display, blast full brightness and never go back to sleep on its own.

Now adjusting the volume, track, or media while the display is toggled off just wakes that particular graphic for 3 seconds at low brightness then goes back to sleep.

It’s the most noticeable and welcome improvement I’ve come across in a while.

I’m currently on Sync 4.0 22192 Rev 498 but it may have changed in a previous version.

Good, good, now can somebody please make it so that it doesn't keep honking when I back up! I don't want to void the warranty so I'm not messing with Forscan.

Well if it was not connected to WIFI then it must have come from a satellite. Maybe that is the problem because my truck is always in the garage.

I'm pretty sure that's the GWM update that precedes the big APIM update. Fingers crossed. Any insights @Jesse - Infotainment ?

Yup. Seems that way.

He's the one who told me 3.5.2 was for the 2022's when he helped me updated my truck 2 weeks ago, but I guess we're all learning about these things on the fly as we go. I never really see him on this forum, though.

My OTA dashboard is still showing an active campaign pending a retry for 2.7.3, so I doubt I will get it this sent to me until that campaign expires. Once whatever update comes out after 3.5.2, if it is worth it, I will get another 2-day license and do it. Otherwise, I'm in no rush. I got what I wanted already.
