Default Stuck on 3.5.2

I used to receive updates when I 1st got my truck then I stopped getting them. I have owned the truck since day 1. Every time I check for an update it says up to date. Vin# 1FTEW1EP6MKE72939

dealership hasn’t been the biggest help. I did call the tech line the other day and they walked me through resetting my FordPass.

Your OTA history is indeed empty and your Sync version is old. I do not have a good explanation as to why you stopped getting updates. The next one your are due is 3.5.3 which would bring your Sync version up to 22293 and gives full screen carplay/android auto. I recommend going the FDRS route. If you prefer not to spend the money, I can add you to the waiting list to borrow one of mine here:

Thank you very much! Yes add me to the waiting list. Being so far behind is it possible to do it with a 2 day subscription to fdrs?

Yes, you can. You probably have 16 hours worth of updates to do, so plan for a weekend date with the laptop. Do you have an account on that forum?

No not yet, fdrs forum? 16 hours of updates. Sounds like I should fire up the smoker as well. So a good 8amp agm battery charger and recommended cable with software.

It sure would be nice if Ford would just give you the option to schedule OTA updates through the Ford Pass app so we could all keep track of where we are in the loop. You would figure with all the technology available these days that they could implement something like this so those of us who are behind could schedule these updates and get caught up.

The gen14forum I linked above..... I'll add you to the list, but I suggest you get on that forum when it comes to FDRS support when you do it.

8amp is not enough. Amazon has the Clore 2320 20amp power supply/charger on sale for $80. You need a power supply..... not a charger.

I am awaiting approval from a admin on that forum. The Clore product is in my Amazon cart. Going to do some research on FDRS support as far as what it entails.

Everything you need to know is in post 1 here:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thre...ing-fdrs.8249/

I meant support with FDRS while you're using it since you haven't used it before. In the same thread I linked above, that is where you want to post in case you get stuck along the way. Many helpful and knowledgeable people follow that thread and will answer your questions in almost real time.
