I've gotten several updates over the last couple of weeks, but the most recent one appears to have failed to install, and I don't have the option to try it again. My SOC seems fine, so I'm not sure what else might be the issue.
Probably a battery charge issue. That's the one that catches must people out. Its something that might get worse as the 21's original batteries age. The oldest are four years old now.

This battery is only 8 months old. Plus like I said, my SOC is fine.

Update failed with the following error message:

"groupId":"1""errorCode":"ManifestCurrentAssemblyD oesNotMatchWithFromAssemblyInManifest(14)"

This means that your truck rejected the update because the files that the mothership wanted to send you were incorrect. There is nothing you did wrong or could have done differently. Nothing to do but wait for it to be resent.

Is this something you've seen resolve itself without any manual intervention?

Yes, it will resolve itself. Just know way of knowing when it will try again and no way of knowing if when it does will it go through that time. I had this update fail on my own truck with the same error message. My truck is tuned, so I am glad it failed. Turned off auto-updates to prevent it from going through and in my case, it was resent 2 weeks later.

My truck is also tuned. Should I not want this one?

Noooooo......you do not want it. It will wipe your tune. Depending on the year of the truck and/or your tuner, it can be a PITA to get your tune back on.

Mine is one of the original Livernois tunes on a 21 5.0. Does this effectively end my ability to receive OTA updates? What happens if it installs?

In your case, the year of the truck and your tuner of choice is the best case scenario. If it installs, you email them a tune request form, plug your tuner into the mycalibrator app, and it will download the new tune with the new PCM strategy where you can reflash it on your truck. So, you'll be without a tune for a few days tops because in this case, the update is not a new one and they have the new tune ready to send out to you. Mine is a 2021 tuned by Livernois, too, so it's not a big deal for me, either.
