OTA history does not show any recent DSP updates. Modules pending updates are below and the DSP is there.

Rugedraw, can you check mine again? 1FTFW1E84NFA54210

I have attempted to get it to load the "Battery Optimization" SW many times now with and without the battery charger connected. When the charger is connected the battery voltage is not dropping below 13.5v. I get a message that the upgrade was interrupted by another process.

Thanks

I've been having the same problem with the same update. However, the updates that require the truck not able to be accessed during the update, usually take a couple of weeks of trying, and then they go through. Same process as you, charger on charger off.

Just over a week ago it took several tries to get 6.5.0 to go through, but after a few attempts it took. This one seems to be more problematic.

Last night before I went to bed, I put on my Ruby Red Slippers, went in the garage, clicked my heals 3 times and said, "there's no truck like Ford, there's no truck like Ford". This morning I saw the "Battery Optimization" (BCM-24.6.R) was completed.

It all comes down to that OTA software update, based on the trouble codes, it broke down communication between a few of the modules.

If it was simple the sensor calibration shoulda fixed it. They mentioned something was wrong VIN code, can’t recall the exact details. The problems got worse when they did that
Heres and interesting resolution, stopped for fuel on our towing trip from Canada to Moab, and the truck says update completed!?!

I had shut off updates, but Ford Eng must have pushed one through. Most functions working except cross traffic and strange lane-keeping icon behavior.

By this morning (I thought there was another update) as setting were changed and readouts were different again, and the truck is back to “normal”. What an intensely frustrating experience, what a strange resolution.

The sensor re-calibrated on its own after a few minutes of driving and ACC works.

No lane keeping while towing but apparently ford made that a thing on ‘24’s - thanks for looking into this for me. Interested to know what it shows in Oasis now..

VIN is coming up as invalid when I input it into PTS. Check it and report and I'll gladly check it out.

Auto-updates being off only affects updates that require the vehicle to be inhibited. All other updates will install even with auto updates off. The update you got was for the TCU, I don't have any explanation why an update to your modem fixed the BC issue, but glad to hear it did!

You have 3 OTA's in your queue right now. The one that is trying to install is BCM-24.6.R and it has failed several times due to poor battery stats. SoC is being reported at 50% and capacity is very low at 22 of 70 (assuming you have the OEM H6 battery). You need to charge your battery up. That one needs to go through before the others ones will install. I suggest you take the truck for a good 3o minute drive with the a/c fan speed set to a minimum of 5 and then manually install the update as soon as you park it when the battery has been charged up.
