Last update it got was 6.8.0 which is not bad at all. It is on the latest Sync version. The only thing I see is that his modem is not active. I am guessing he has not set up Fordpass yet. Have him try to set it up just to make sure there are no connectivity issues.

I recently purchased a 2021 PB KR. The SYNC version is 23167.In an earlier post you state the last version is 23291.
The update screen states that there a re no updates pending
The Nav is Version 2.76.3r20220923.a19d9e6c
Are there any other updates I am missing?
Thanks

You cannot guide yourself by what the touchscreen says. If you are on Sync 23167, then you are not up to date. With your VIN, I can see what module have pending updates.

I got 6.5.0 two days ago and yesterday I also have taken the download of the Battery Optimization update. On both the 6.5.0 update and this new one I hooked up the battery charger and tried to kick off the "Update Now", but they failed. 6.5.0 updated in the middle of the night, but the battery update failed this morning (10A battery charger connected). Again today I tried to kick it off with the Update Now button and again it failed. And once if fails it now seems to not let you try "Update Now" again. I will see what happens tonight.

And an update on my truck that still has no cruise control or driver assist features of any kind. It has been escalated to Ford engineering and nobody seems to have an answer. Beautiful.

So for those are clamoring for updates, there’s plenty of out here that got zapped multiple times and wish we had shut them off from day one.

Seems like one of the last OTA updates killed my bed lights (I installed them and turned them on in Forscan). I havent noticed any other changes to my modifications; bambi mode, turn off honk when leaving truck with key, etc. There are some older threads of this happening, so hopefully I can just turn them back on. I just dont want this to be a recurring thing.

Plenty of updates pending. You do show an APIM update pending, so that's good. I have no good explanation as to why you haven't gotten any sent in a while, but your truck seems fine in terms of being able to receive updates. Looks like crap luck with the OTA lottery.
