Best option is probably turn off auto-update but keep a close eye of which updates are avaialble. Then you'll know if you're missing out on important features or fixes.

Dumb question for @Livnitup : How long after the dealership applies all the SW updates for my truck (your last printout showed 8 or so) would you be able to see that reflected in FDRS? I don't want you to run mine again (they are still working on it and updating everything ... I'm just curious to know if I could check when they are done to see if they actually updated everything or not. Thanks!

You should be able to see it more or less in real-time as updates are applied. Connected to the truck you can certainly see it in real-time. Remotely, there may be a slight delay, but it would be minimal I believe. Just note that some updates never seem to disappear from the list for some reason, or take a few days to disappear, even after updating.

Here's what it shows right now and the work they've done today so far:

You did not have to check yet ... I'm sorry if I interrupted your vacation. But thank you !! Enjoy your last day and safe travels!

P.S. - I think you're seeing local time in FDRS. Panama is only 1 hour off, your post was at 10:34 AM EDT, so the last update (9:16AM end time) would likely have been done at 10:16 AM EDT

Lol, this isn't the typical vacation; my son is getting stem cells here so there's a lot of downtime in the hotel and this is helping stem the boredom They've done PDM, SCCM, GSM, IPMA and are currently doing the IPMA alignment now on your truck.

First and foremost, prayers/good vibes are on the way for your son.

Yes, they replaced the IPMA about a week ago, but when they were trying to program, they said the GWM was throwing error codes that were not known. They reached out to Engineering, who finally told them the new IPMA module was likely bad, so they replaced it again yesterday. They are reporting that they are no longer getting those unknown errors from the GWM anymore and programming is going fine (just taking forever, which I expected based on the info you gave me previously).

Thanks again and safe travels home!
