I had the same thought...tried it both ways..no bueno...thanks for the help though...
It was a shot. When I bought mine, I had the driver rear door with the child lock on and didn't know till the MIL was back there trying to get out. Had to flip it off (the door, not the MIL...). Good luck with the issue.
Not all modules can be updated OTA. A dealer will only update a module under warranty if you are having problems. Otherwise you have to pay out of pocket for them to do it, or you can buy the necessary adapter and an FDRS subscription to do it yourself.
well no ota for me overseas. No wifi at home as car is too far away from wifi. I tried scheduling at airbnb but signal was low and it didn't update. I’ll try tomorrow at the hotel wifi I'm staying and schedule it. Since I can’t do usb stick like pas vehicles for free…
On the topic of "if you are having problems," does anyone here happen to know whether the "Passenger Door Module (PDM)" update happens to address the apparent all-F-150 issue of the rear passenger doors not working with Intelligent Access (fob recognition)?
A software update won't add sensors to the rear door handles lol
You don't mean the feature which requires that the backseat occupant's doorhandle release be pulled once to unlock, then immediately a second time to open?
What? Is that in the manual? I never heard it before and the back door locking is a frequent complaint. I'll try two pulls next time. It's counterintuitive.

I tried the double pull. Works on the driver's side rear but not the passenger side. Tried it with the child lock in both positions

Per the manual, double pulling has been necessary, and works, on both sides in my truck.
Yep, it's a fact I didn't know about. Page 85 of the manual. Even if you have Autounlock it takes one pull to unlock the rear door and another to open it. Autounlock only works when the driver opens his door within 10 minutes of shutting off the truck. Thanks Tom
My interface is super crazy lately. I've attached the home screen and update page for reference.
Have done reset from interface (both at the unit, and from steering wheel controls). Master reset. Disconnect battery for extended time. Each time I have tested once again with similar results. There is a lot of overlapping text and what not in various menus. Unable to view the user manual now. It also tells me there is no update available when checking on wifi.
This is more informational as to provide reference to others.
