We were both the same Build Week back in 2022. My 3-yr BlueCruise trial subscription is up April 13th. My renewal notice finally showed on March 1st as shown in the attached screenshot. I took advantage of their offer for one year at no cost. I do use mine anytime I'm on the highway and especially on my trip last month from Florida to Maryland and back on I-95.

I'm rather pleased with BlueCruise, but I did use FORScan to upgrade from BC 1.0 to 1.4 with @rugedraw 's fantastic long-distance assistance. Certainly is a great improvement. I was fortunate my local dealer had updated the IPMA and APIM modules along with others while doing a bed camera replacement. So, I didn't have to mess with FDRS and Mongoose.

You didn't get the no-cost one-year renewal offer?

PCM is the powertrain control module. As far as what it actually does or improves, I have no idea.

Thanks! I just went thru Ford up options, and I have that 1-year offer too, but it is still asking for my credit card... did have to enter yours to get that free 1 year?

You're right - they sure did! I provided mine so I could move forward to take the offer. The review page showed it would be a charge of $0, so I approved the "purchase." Guess the page isn't smart enough to not ask for a payment method for a zero charge. There was no charge and my connected services page shows BC will renew for one additional year on the current expiration date.

That's probably why they asked for your card -- so they can auto-renew at the future rate. Was that stated during the transaction? Can you remove the card to prevent it?

I didn't see any verbiage about auro-renew. I'm thinking it can't (or shouldn't) when we have the option to randomly do one month at a time. However, it's worth checking out. Of course, I wouldn't object it were to keep auto-renewing at $0 per year! I'll circle back with what I find out.

I went looking for the offer this morning and found it. I read through terms and conditions and decided that I hate lawyers and then decided to not make the purchase. I also called Ford's connected services yesterday to ask about an update from 1.0 and was told that they are currently rolling 1.3 out to Mach E's and F-150's would be at some later date. There are no plans to roll out 1.4 currently and it is only available on '25 Navigators and Expeditions. If they would update my software I would have considered continuing the subscription but I don't even want to give Ford my credit card info just to continue 1.0 for another year for free.

If you use 1.0 at all, don't worry about it. You can remove your credit card information immediately after completing the transaction. You're not liable for transactions you didn't approve and they're easy to dispute. (That's true for credit cards, not so much for debit cards. I NEVER use a debit card.)

So I put my credit card number, it forced me to save for future transactions, and it did "congratulations!" with claiming that an email was sent.
However, 24 hrs later, NO email, and under connectivity it still shows "renews on 04-28-2025"

Guys who succeeded with this offer - did you get the status updated right away?

Actually the same for me - no email so far and shows as renewing on 04/14/2025. I didn't notice any wording about future automatic renewals (as someone else suggested) and it does still show my credit card, but with my old expiration date from last year. I didn't want to cancel the payment method because I was concerned it would cancel my $0 renewal.
