I do not know what caused the OTA to fail nor why the XM is now not working.
Does your fdrs happen to say why it failed to update? The people at Ford that deal with the OTA updates issues claimed that I had low battery voltage. Kind of hard to believe that I have battery issues on a 3 month old truck.

I traded my 2021 powerboost that I had all the issues with. I had finally got it mostly updated but they kept having issues with driver camera. I went with a 23 lightning. So far loving it but realized even with it being 23 the initial bluecruise is 1.0. Not sure why Ford has them so far being the Mach E. Anyway has anyone with a new 23 had experience with how long it took to start getting updates? If someone wants to run the Vin it's 1FT6W1EV1PWG32855

They are clueless.

It is failing because the files being sent to the truck are the wrong ones so your truck is rejecting the update. I already told you what the error code was the first time in my other post. The second time it failed, it says:

"groupId":"1""errorCode":"ManifestCurrentAssemblyD oesNotMatchWithFromAssemblyInManifest(14)"

Which means the files sent to do not match with the files needed.

Your truck i sonly three months old and was built with all the software that 2021 and most 2022 were missing. You are not on the latest Sync version, so you should start seeing some updates soon.

BC 1.0 is still the standard on F150's and Lightnings. However, it is believed that right around the corner for all Bluecruise equipped Ford vehicles.

So what would you suggest I do? My truck is far out of warranty and I really see no use in taking this to the dealer since all I read up is how useless the dealerships are regarding tech and there's no help from Ford themself.

Post or send me your VIN so I can take a look and confirm what I think I already know. Do you still have warranty?

Edit: Never mind....just saw in your edited post that you don't.

Your only hope is to open a case with Ford customer service if you are out of warranty. Has a dealer ever tried to repair your update issue? Any work done to the APIM?

It got to that sync version with an OTA you got on 11/23/2021 and your truck has never gotten an update since then. Unfortunately, being out of warranty leaves you with only two options: Contact Ford Customer Care and see if they are willing to open a good-will case where they will cover swapping out your APIM. Because you are way passed your warranty based on your mileage, this is a long shot. However, it will not cost you anything to try. The only other option is to buy an APIM that is correctly programmed to your truck and swap it out yourself. The APIM is not difficult to get to, so if you can turn basic hand tools and feel comfortable removing some trim pieces from your dash and center console to get to it, you can do it yourself. The cost of the APIM would be $450. I make zero profit from this. If you're interested, I would put you in contact with the person who can help you and that is my end of involvement with the process.

Unfortunately, there is no other solution to your problem. Your truck has the 8" screen and is not a loaded truck with lots of bells and whistles, so the main thing I'd say you are missing is full-screen carplay/android auto capability and perhaps a few other minor things. If that is something you can live without, then just let it ride as it is. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Ford really sh*t the bed with a lot of these job 1 gen 14 trucks and yours is one of them.

Mine 21 got the wrong update sent and my bedlights quit working. I went to the dealer and they ordered a new BCM (Still hasn't come in). I fixed it by changing 2 charters using Foscan from a post in this forum.
