The newer IPMA update will enhance performance and stability on all driver assist features whether the truck has BC or not. If you do have BC, then you can enable those new BC features I mentioned with FORScan. If you do not have BC, then you will improved lane centering and cruise control.

I’ve gotten three or four OTA updates in the last 10 days. Anyone else getting a bunch out of the blue?

I have but do not see any details as to what they were.

The details weren't showing up in my FordPass app, but they do show up for me in the truck. That said, the details are as nebulous as always...

Default Update help

I have not noticed any updates lately on my 22, 5.0 xl STX. My computer tech skills are not good. Does this mean it doesn’t need any updates or have i some how done something unintentionally to keep it from happening?

I appreciate any feedback

I would need the VIN to check.

So is it a consensus that the pre-2024 trucks are basically never going to get any updates to BC 1.0? My truck is regularly receiving OTA updates and I excitedly check and my BC has never increased. I ask because I'm not sure if it's gotten worse of if I just seem to be noticing it more but the lack of the "drift away from side encroachment" which I don't have causes me to have to grab the wheel more and more any more. Almost to the point that using BC is kind of not worth it just for the tension it seems to be causing me.

I get that Ford is in the business of selling new trucks but I find it pretty disappointing that I'm coming up on 3 years of ownership and a company that has an entire division devoted to just software hasn't managed to push out a newer version to me.

TIA!

It will come. The Mach E is always the first to get new stuff and they started getting 1.3 maybe 2-3 weeks ago. We have mostly the same hardware, so it will make its way here.
