Just got it myself noticed when I left for work last night I'll check the bed cam functionality here in little bit!

lucky! This is crazy. Had that functionality since the day I bought it.

 

Yeah, same here. Supposedly 4.3.4 restores it if you’re lucky enough to have it go through. Mine failed 6 times. There’s a lot of luck involved with these updates. If mine ever goes through I’m going to buy lottery tickets.

 

That is the latest OTA for our trucks that brings your Sync version up to 23159. It is not supposed to take away any camera functions. Try resetting the APIM. With the truck on, hold down the radio power button and forward seek button together until the screen reboots. Do it twice. Hopefully that resolves it. If not, you can try enabling it with FORscan if you have it.

 

Just received another update on my 2021. My last update was June 5, 2023 (at that point I was getting 1 update every couple of weeks).

The one I got today was an update to the digital owner’s manual. Not sure what version that puts me at?

 

I got the digital owner manual update just a couple of days ago too. Did not display power up version number for this update like the others

My 2nd to last update, 23-PU0274-DOM-RS installed on 9/15. It introduced a weird screeching noise that happens mostly when the cameras activate while parked or low speed and also when going into reverse. Last about 5seconds. Volume control work so I can turn it down when it happens. I've also heard it at random times while driving too.
Before that one I had an update keep failing for unknown reasons. I can not recall which version it was. Possibly for the rear camera while moving update that never went through a while back.

Last update was 4.2.3 which just went through today about an hour ago. Curious what I'm missing and if I need to take it to the dealer to have the screeching noise looked at.

 

It seems a bit odd to me that an automatic function ( ford pass) takes so much input from the customer to operate properly. Seems to me you payed you should get it without having to interact. Case in point when I check I get error messages.
