Let me know what happens. Im in same boat. No updates at all in over 2 yrs. Dealer says its a ford problem and they know about it but no fix yet.
Your case is different. You are past Sync 20301 and vehicle history shows a dealer tried to perform some procedures on your APIM to get your updates going. It is beyond my knowledge to know if they did enough. I would need a picture of your entire "about sync" screen so I can ask the guru to look at your truck's config and determine if your truck is properly set up to get OTA's or not.

thanks.
Last update you got was 3.5.4, so you are behind. Your truck is fine; it just seems like you just haven't gotten any updates sent with Ford's random OTA process. Nothing you can do but wait for your VIN to come out with the next OTA roll-out.
Got my 2021 STX a little over a month ago. Reading through some of this, starting to realize my truck is a bit behind. It's hooked up to my home wifi, Scheduled to check for updates each night at 11. I went on the Ford site, it doesn't show any updates available to me. About updates screen shows the last one as being 3.2.2

Any ideas?
Last OTA you got was 3.5.2 back in May. Nothing else has been sent to you since then. You are behind. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to force an OTA being sent to your truck. There is nothing wrong with your truck; the problem in your case is Ford's crappy OTA process.
With all due respect to the service advisor: He/she can kiss my ***. They out to be ashamed that people on the forums are more aware of these issues than they are.
With that said: It is not entirely their fault. Ford never released a campaign to specifically address the Sync 20301 broken software issue. Because of this, many people had to resort to the forums for help. Just because dealers are not aware of the issue does not mean the issue does not exist. The other side of that coin is that without a way to bill Ford for the work needed to get your truck out of the state it is in, they will be reluctant to help. Nobody likes to work for free and that is something anyone can relate to. The real culprit of this issue is Ford as a manufacturer and not dealerships. They are the ones that released bad software to vehicles and they should be offering customers/dealers a way to fix the problem. I understand that nothing I just said helps your cause, but it is the reality of the situation you are in. Unfortunately, you may have to call Ford Customer Service and open a case in order to get the help you need. Because the service advisor was a dick and he wants to go ahead and say "the forums" don't know what they're saying, I am going to go out of my way to give you ammo to present your case to them. While this is stuff they have access to should they bother looking for it, I will do your service advisor's job for him. Feel free to show him this post.
This first pic is a screenshot of the Sync tab in PTS for your truck. Circled is the Sync version you're on and also the date that your truck got that update which is July 8th, 2021. PTS shows that the build date for your truck is 7/82021. This means that your truck has never gotten an update since it was built, or that once it was built, it was sent an update from Ford the same day that put it on the broken software it has now.
Also attached are two GSB's. 23-7035 was sent to all Ford dealers on May 26th indicating the importance of having an up to date APIM. As per the GSB:Effects Of Not Having An APIM Programmed Properly
• Future map updates will cause errors and will not complete.
• Missing features such as climate, various settings for vehicle, and SiriusXM.
• Inaccurate navigation or compass.
• Connected Services may not work properly such as incomplete software updates via Over-the-Air, Connected Navigation inoperable, and enhanced voice recognition failures.
• Applink, FordPass or Lincoln Way features may not operate properly.
• Loss of navigation, navigation voice prompts, or SYNC voice prompts.
• Erratic Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto operation.
• General inability for SYNC to communicate to the Ford back-end cloud.
Also attached is GSB 23-7146 sent to all Ford dealers on October 26th. In the GSB there is a link that takes you to this document showing what is the latest Sync version all connected Ford vehicles should be on. A screenshot of that document is below. This document is outdated as there is a newer Sync version that that one out for 2021 trucks, but that is enough to show them that your truck is not up to date.
For good measure, here is a screenshot of the Sync tab of my own truck (also a 2021 with the 12" screen) showing it is on Sync 23291 (291st day of 2023) which is only a few months old.
Tell your service advisor that he should probably join the forums. The lack of training and resources they get from Ford, they can get here.
First and foremost...THANK YOU! Thank you for all this and taking your time to look into this stuff. This service writer as you said does not care about being in the know about his job. Forums are a VALUABLE tool. I am not saying beleive everything you read on the web but there is A LOT of good information on this site and others. Information where the common person (like myself) would never be able to get our hands on without people like you. So Thank you again!

Rugeraw, Thanks but that has been been analyzed before by your Guru. I'm in nowhere land and only a programmer can fix it.
