could failed update be why SiriusXM isn’t loading? Seems odd that it won’t considering it worked fine prior to the update.

 

It is possible it if was a partial install and something got borked. I cannot tell with the resources I have if that happened or not. It is VERY rare, but I guess it is not impossible. I do not have a good explanation for that.

 

Would the dealer be able to force the update since it’s downloaded?

 

Yes, but Ford does not pay them to perform module updates even if the truck is under warranty, so that most likely will not happen. Unless there is a specific TSB or recall associated with performing the module update, they won't do it.

6.4.0 should be a TCU update.

 

Thank you, Ford! I received 6.4.0 today and discovered a wonderful improvement to my camera system. I can use my bed camera now as a rear view monitor and it utilizes the entire screen with no big white message block in the middle. I checked the tailgate camera also and there is a smaller white message block in it but it is better than before.

 

Received mine (6.4.0) today also, anyone see any difference besides the camera function?

Guess I will have to go out tomorrow and look at the Sync settings.

 

I did not notice any difference in the camera function on my 2022 XLT Powerboost.

 

Maybe it's just me or I've never noticed it but when you turn up the heat the circle changes color from blue to red as you get warmer. New?
