Software Updates
I have the same greyed out update button. It was set and working up until a couple weeks ago. Yesterday I did a soft reset, no change. Today I did the hard reset, still no change. I have an excellent signal from my home wi-fi and also have the AT&T account for the hotspot. Guess my dealer is the next step.
Got this from the ford early access as I asked what was going on because I can’t turn on auto updates anymore etc. same issue a ton of people are having. For the failed or stuck 1.7.1 OTA update. I emailed back and asked if this will be a OTA update. I haven’t heard back yet on that part.
We are working to resolve the issues you have identified. You can go the dealer but the only solution they can offer at the moment would be to replace your module. We are working on a software fix so that your module does not need to be replaced. The software calibration you mentioned is unrelated to the issues you have noted post the software update. Please stay patient with us as we continue to work towards a resolution to this issue. You can look forward to a communication from our team very soon on next steps.
@tboo72 I was having issues with no automated updates flowing in since OTA Power Up 1.6 was delivered in late Sept., and also had WiFi weirdness going on. I finally got a confirmed good WiFi signal and saw network activity to the truck via my home network monitor, so decided to leave the truck running for a bit to see if it would make any progress. Long story short, over 20-30 minutes, I had received in about 3GB downloaded that then stopped. I went ahead and turned off the truck, and roughly 30 minutes later got notification via Ford Pass that I had been updated to 1.7.1. Good that I got the update, but now I have issues that seem to have been caused by the update centered around Speed Sign Recognition. It also updated Sync to the latest version and in the process blew away all my saved Nav locations and radio presets, but that was not a big deal for me and fixed in 5 minutes.
Still awaiting OTA 2.1.x that I hear some are receiving, but no activity in the last few days.
Good luck! Merry Christmas to you and all!!

it also was having WiFi issues connecting to my access point that is 20’ and LOS. I noticed it had the “i” in the WiFi strength indicator. Tried connecting and would get “Unable to connect to <APName>”. Deleted the connection and tried reconnecting but failed. Moved the truck down to my house on another access point and it connected. Moved back to garage and it failed to connect so played around more and finally got it to connect to the garage Wifi AP. Once I worked through that and let the truck run as previousl outlined, OTA 1.7.1 download kicked back in and since then WiFi seems to be reliably connecting now and there is data flowing to truck at times when shut off. Still no 2.1 or 2.1.1 OTA yet but it has only been a few days since 1.7.1 came in.
I got my OTA status using the scriptable widget option on my iPhone. Not sure what it all means. I do see 1.7.1 mentioned. Auto updates have been greyed out for almost a month. I did see that on the Mach e forums someone was told the 1.7.1 update failed on a lot of the Mach es and they are working on a software fix so the auto updates can be turned back on.

My aggregatestatus is "expired". Ive seen others with "failure" or "success". Wonder what "expired" means?
