Software Updates
I had some work done a couple weeks ago during an oil change. I’m not sure if the dealership did everything they claimed they could do, but they did keep my truck all day. They got an update to go through and now my sync4 is at 22192. It still seems like I am very far behind on updates. Can someone give me a heads up if any update is in queue?

There are 3 updates after that based on my experience manually updating.
You'll gain Amazon Alexa, full screen Carplay or Android Auto, and using rear cameras while driving.
Two out of three was worth doing DIY updates to me.
Hopefully you'll hit the OTA lottery and get updated the easy way.

While on a 2 hour trip, stopped at a location up north, 1 hour later ready to go home and all my GPS Favorites GONE and while dash is in KM's, the screen is in Miles to destination.
My Dash configuration was also affected. My Home destination gone. I had to spend an hour reprogramming what I remember was lost. But my dash is while in Canada is KM (metric) but the screen remains Miles (USA) and no where in the settings anywhere to change it. I can live with that but when I go to USA I change everything to Miles (USA) and when back to Canada change everything back to KM's (Metric). Seems like only the dash is changeable but not the large screen!
One notification stated Dynamic screen resizing when using android auto or apple car play... I couldn't care less about that as I hate both of those and that's when all my configuration was wiped to start with and today Advanced Dual Phone update which I think is great (if it works)
Has anybody experienced the above and how to convert the large screen gps back to KM's (metric)? 22 f-150 platinum

They updated your APIM and tried to update your GWM, but it failed once and they gave up. Your truck is fine, though. It is communicating with Ford's servers. I assume you have an aftermarket sound system based on all the DTC's your truck is recording for the speakers. You just have to wait for Ford's crappy OTA process to send you an update.
My job 1 truck was stuck on 2.7.something and hasn't updated since October 2022. Then out of the blue two days ago I received update 3.5.2. I'm not complaining but it seems to have skipped a few updates. Hopefully the updates will continue.
While some updates are sequential, not all of them are. It is possible,
Is anyone else having issues since getting 4.2.3? The day I got the update I started getting intermittent buzzing when listening to music with Android Auto and I'm noticing screen tearing and stutter in the reverse camera. I was hoping it would be a one time thing like my headlamps defaulting to on instead of auto which also happen3ed with 4.2.3, but a few days later the other issues are still present.
Here's an example of the noise I'm getting:

The second attempt of 4.2.2 finally came through. The weird thing is it downloaded all but one of the files this afternoon. And then 7 hours later it finally downloaded the final (and largest) file and completed the update.
Let's see if 4.2.3 come 'round in the next few days!
