Software Updates
This is why I am considering a battery maintainer for my 2021 F150, since it sits in the garage for weeks without being used or started. I use just a Noco Genius2 and connect it to the vehicle with the weatherproof connector that runs from the front grill to the battery so I can plug in the charger while the truck sits in the garage. I already have done this on two other vehicles, so they batteries don't get low (and especially since working remotely for like over 2 years). The electronics on the truck etc, probably drain the battery after weeks if just sitting.
Could you please check my vin? I am curious if it complained about low battery or if it affected updates: 1FTFW1ED3MFC11268

(and coincidentally my own '21 is finally trying to pull down 4.2.1 tonight. Finally! :-D )
I got my truck back today. They said my truck is up to date. I'm stuck on 2.7.4 and hasn't updated since October 2022. They are going to talk to Ford technical support to see if they can help. I hate Ford sometimes. I am so frustrated right now. Tomorrow I will plug in the battery tender to see if will update but I'm not counting on it.

As @rugedraw says in post 4987 running the truck is part of the key to getting updates. While I have updates scheduled daily, my experience suggests that many updates come through while you are driving.
