Other changes I’ve noticed with 3.5.3 are
1: Weather radar is focused on your current location as the initial screen. Far more useful.

2: CarPlay seems to initialize much better. That said I did have a post CarPlay freeze that required a reboot. Hopefully a one off.
3: you can still run with car play in the 3/4 screen, with the sidebar to the right.

 

I would recommend posting a request on the thread below so that someone with FDRS can check what modules you have pending. If you post or PM me your VIN, I can check to see your truck's current status and give you an idea of how far behind you are, but I do not have an active FDRS license to tell exactly what needs updating.

So much for updates at night. Just got 4.2.1 update.

this is like the third update in a week. They’re rocking in Detroit!

 

Between 4/26 and today, I got 4.2.1, 4.2.2 and 4.2.3.

 

This is why I am considering a battery maintainer for my 2021 F150, since it sits in the garage for weeks without being used or started. I use just a Noco Genius2 and connect it to the vehicle with the weatherproof connector that runs from the front grill to the battery so I can plug in the charger while the truck sits in the garage. I already have done this on two other vehicles, so they batteries don't get low (and especially since working remotely for like over 2 years). The electronics on the truck etc, probably drain the battery after weeks if just sitting.
