Received 4.2.3 this morning...

 

Correct. Once an OTA that does not require the vehicle to be inhibited gets queued and when the files are downloaded, they will sit there until you start the truck. You don't even have to drive it......just starting it will trigger the activation process for it to install. I have PTS screenshots of my own 4.2.3 installing in real time yesterday posted here and described the process to get the files to start installing:

I was able to watch this yesterday with my truck as well. Didn't even have to actually start the truck, just turning it "on"/"acc" was enough to trigger the downloads.

Now here's hoping 4.2.2 comes tomorrow to keep up with everyone else's rapid schedule once they start.

 

Yeah it's amazing how it's feast or famine with these updates. I finally got 3.5.3 on 4/23, then 3.5.4 on 4/28, then 4.2.1 yesterday on 5/1. All winter nothing, then three in 8 days. Maybe even less. Since I did not drive my truck all weekend, 4.2.1 may have been sitting there for a few days.

 

So was I the first to get 4.2.4??????

 

I just received the 4.2.2 today. Seems like everything is ok.

 

Is there anyway to stop the updates? If everything works fine why do I need them to keep updating and screwing things up.
