It's aggravating to see the trucks that are very close to current getting OTA's when those of us that are behind don't get any or very few OTA's. My last OTA was on 31 October, and still at 2.7.3. Wouldn't it make sense for Ford to push and get all the trucks to the same point and only need push the current OTA's.

Hey guys, long time lurker but first time posting.

Would someone be able to check my vin if possible? 1FTEW1EP8MFB82775
No update since 13 October 2022, Ford power up 2.7.4, Version 22177, Revision 473, Sync Version 4.0.22177.
Have auto updates on, just got it back from a service about two weeks ago but forgot to ask when I picked it up was anything updated.
I just imagined they would do that when they have the truck in regardless of me saying anything. Just curious as to what might be going on?

Cheers!

Hey could someone check my Vin 1FTEW1EP7MKD96017
I just rechargrecharged the battery over the weekend. From the last response from here said, an update was sent to my truck but it failed twice. Now I have a fully charged battery so hopefully 3rd time the charm.

For whatever reason mine truck never updates when its connected to wifi in my driveway (almost full bars of wifi). Both times i got my 5.3 and 5.4 update was driving my son to track practice. After we got back into the truck it was updated. Strange... but maybe helpful if youre waiting for it to get updated through wifi.

No OTA history in the past 60 days and none in your queue at this time. Based on your current sync version, you are not up to date, but aren't too far behind, either.

Ford does not pay dealers labor hours to update modules, so they don't do it. Nothing is going on other besides the usual: Ford's OTA process is hot garbage.

3.5.3 was sent to you on 1/26, it downloaded all but two of the files it needed before it failed. Error code reported it:

"errorCode":"RANGE_NOT_SATISFIABLE(416)""errorCate gory":"HTTP(1347703880)""binaryUrl":"https://mmota-cdn.autonomic.ai/ford/AU_FORD_VADR_PRD-37b0905e-3f25-4300-bf2d-bc1fabc264b7""ecuId":"2000"

I have no idea what that means.

Add me to this list. Although mine was a bit strange.

First, my truck is parked a lot in garage 10 feet from AP so great wifi signal. Auto update schedule also set for 2am nightly.

I received notification of 3.5.3 install last Friday when I was at my cabin where I have no WiFi for the truck to connect. Only cell when I am there. Rugedraw provided a table that showed this update should be about 6GB…. I have Eero at my home so logged in to see when it had downloaded. I only showed about 95MB had been downloaded to the truck on Thursday while home, meaning that the remaining 5.9GB must have come during my drive and after I parked at the cabin. I think it is interesting to hear others who have the same experience.

I have been home since Saturday and no new updates for 3.5.4 OTA yet…. Some others have gotten both of these in quick succession so was hoping I would be the same. I know it is probably just be a case of Ford not having queued up for me yet. I am not sure the size of the 3.5.4 OTA.

Might be interesting to turn off wifi for a week and see if it makes any difference. Hard to really know though since the whole process is driven by Ford…

Every update I have ever received has been like this, normally I get notification of the update after getting back from taking the girls to school in the morning. Even for updates that require downtime I get notice they are ready to install right after going on a short drive.

This has worked for me. Drive 20 minutes. Go home.
Set Schedule to download the update in 15 minutes
Turn off headlights
put parking brake on
Exit truck
lock
update installed both times I’ve done that.
