Sync 22146 is not the latest software, but I do see the dealer replaced the APIM and performed a successful PMI procedure, so if your truck was stuck not getting updates before, you will start getting them now. It is just a matter of waiting for Ford to actually send on to you.

4A is for the layout of the 15" vertical screen. You're blaming Ford for not being able to upgrade to the 4A software on a 12" landscape screen?

Unless everything I've read is wrong, the functionality between 4 and 4A are nearly identical. The primary difference is screen size and orientation. The Mustang Mach3 has a 15" vertically oriented Sync screen, running Sync4A. The F150 has the 12" horizontally oriented Sync screen, running Sync4.

No, no they would not. All the manufacturers have their own set of issues that other manufacturers don't.

These aren't smartphones. If you think upgrading ONE single chip with some firmware in a phone is on par with DOZENS of modules in a vehicle that does far more than make calls, send/receive texts and allow you to waste your time on TikTok making the ChiComs happy, you've got another thing coming.

Don't you love it when people complain about things they don't even understand? ROTF!

Welcome to the club of half done downloads @TxTigaah . Wishing the time out feature didn't happen.
