Oh, I understand. What I am saying is, they won't let you keep the loaner while they await the APIM. If they diagnose it as being faulty and order one, they will tell you to bring the loaner back and take your truck until it arrives. Then, they give you a loaner again until the complete the repair.

Been a long while for me since it was stuck, then fixed. Someone wanna see what I have outstanding right now? I think I've been on 3.5.2 for a few months. Thanks.

The update you are referring to was sent to your truck on 12/2 and it failed to install for unclear reasons. It downloaded the files, but the actual installation never kicked off and the OTA trigger expired. Nothing you can do than just wait for it to be sent to you again. That is one of two small patches that 2021 owners get before they get sent 3.5.2. That update, the other patch and 3.5.2 are all updates to prepare your truck for future updates, so you are not missing out on anything.

I was asking if there was a way for me to find out what version (such as 3.5.2) my truck is currently running so I don’t keep asking generous folks like you to look it up for me. I got my truck back from the dealer 12/22 after leaving it on 11/28. Based on activity I watched through an AirTag I had in my car, they didn’t start working on my issue until 12/2. They had much difficulty installing updates and had Ford techs involved in the process towards the end. So I’m wondering why you didn’t see all of that activity in the log your viewing.

Looking through your vehicle history while it was the dealer, it shows they did many updates, and I see they struggled updating the IPC. I can't tell if they finally got it go through or not. If your bluecruise is working now, then you are at 2.8.2 at the very least. If you have cameras in motion, then you are 2.8.3. If you have full screen carplay, then you are at least on 3.5.3. I believe Sync 22293 is the latest one.
A little history,: 2022 Platinum Anti-matter Blue, 701a, ordered 2/28 Invoiced 8/8, Blended 8/16 chip hold 8/18, built 12/13, shipped/dealer received 12/21. The truck has been at the dealership since 12/21 trying to get the BlueCruise to download the updated maps. Currently my Sync 4 software Version is :22082_Product Revision:411. The hands-free driving mode available through 10-09-2022. Not going to lie this is all new to me and I'm kind of learning as I go. The dealership is attempting to schedule the download at night and it hasn't been taking. We've done daily "Key Cycles" and still not taking the download. They had activated "my truck" through their Ford Pass app so today we reset and activated through my Ford Pass app and will check tomorrow.
I know there has been several Vin's check on this trend by a very helpful and understanding member. I'm not for sure what information can be found by checking my vin at this time considering we did a reset and or this truck is so new. The lack of feedback the truck is giving in the process doesn't help the troubleshooting. All I know is I have a truck that was blended 8/16 and sitting in a parking lot some 200 miles away on chip hold. Now it's built and here just 3 miles from my home and I can't get my hands on it. So incredibly frustrating to say the least.
We come from a small community and the dealership doesn't have a high volume of higher trim. There have been a few units come through with bluecruise and "key cycles" seemed to have fixed the download issue....just not this time. If they are trying key cycles to force the bluecruise maps update to come via OTA, then they are wasting their time. There is no way to "force" an OTA. In the countless of VIN's I have checked, I have only seen two people get the bluecruise maps update via OTA. I see they updated your GWM module twice using FDRS. You can ask them to update all modules that show a pending update on FDRS and hope that the bluecruise maps update is in there. If I remember correctly, it should be part of an APIM update that will bring your Sync version up to a newer one than the one you have now. I don't have an active FDRS license to check what modules you have pending updates, but ask your advisor and hopefully the tech assigned will put in the work. As long as the advisor writes it up as a "customer concern and complaint", they should be able to bill Ford for the time it takes to update the truck.
So, I invested a bunch of money into updating the system since the dealer is only capable of adding grease and tightening bolts. I did the APIM module repair, and bunch of other updates manually. Truck runs 100% better than before all the updates. I just got my first OTA update yesterday, (no details in the update notes and the sync version did not change) so it appears all the modules are working!
I would like to see where I am at the moment without spending another $50 for FDRS.
