Saw the download symbol with a check mark when I got in the truck this morning and checked the software update, I also got the Ford Power-Up 4.2.1 last night. No noticeable difference in anything I could tell.

 

I'm pretty sure I'm all fixed now, but can you check 1FTFW1E56MFC62112 and make sure Im good? I'm always going to be paranoid about missing OTA's after the issue's I've had.

 

Your truck is on Sync 22294 and you received a BCM update via OTA earlier this month. Your truck is good to go.

 

Got an email today that the Blue Cruise free trial period was extended to the end of 2023, so basically, 6 more months in my case. Hopefully, V1.2 will be out before then and will improve/solve the issue many of us are seeing. Given the poor OTA process, I guess I should hope the V1.2 update can even make it to me to be assessed...

How are y'all checking what OTA updates you've been getting? Sorry, I only got my new-old-stock 2022 2 weeks ago.

 

via notifications in the Ford Pass app. My 2023 started getting updates about 2 months after delivery and now its been like once a week or so.

 

It is pretty bad that Ford cannot anticipate the Hardware to be capable of supporting upcoming releases of Sync. New 2022 F150 Sync 4 cannot upgrade to 4a. Any other manufacturer that did not support upgrades would be turfed. Would you buy a new smartphone that could not be upgraded, so it was outdated at tiime of purchase, this is what Ford has been doing for years.

 

That's a lot of updates, what is your current Sync software revision number? I've been getting updates recently, but nowhere near one per week.
