Thanks Rugedraw.
Of course my mirrors seem to work fine, so now I have to wonder how they will work after I receive the helpful update.....cross my fingers.

Default Vin check

Could I also get mine checked. I feel like I haven’t gotten any of the updates in years, the dealer said they swapped out my AIPM? And updated it ect but that’s been months with no changes

I have not gotten to the point yet of pulling out my networking tools to trace where the data is going but I can see on my wifi system that the truck is uploading something after each drive, then the wifi goes to sleep...
Can you run a sniffer on the data to see what's being sent, I would imagine it's just basic usage data (how you drive, music you listen to etc.)

Your truck has not recorded an OTA in 22 months and is on Sync version 20262 which is software from 2020. I see no indication that your APIM was ever replaced. All I see in your truck's history are some unsuccessful APIM repair procedures being performed in May of last year. You need dealer intervention if your truck is to be taken out of the current state it is in for your to start receiving updates. Contact your dealer and tell them you have not gotten an OTA in almost two years. They need to manually update/repair your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it. Dealers have learned a lot over the past year and hopefully this time around, they will be able to get your truck right.

I brought my Platinum home 6 weeks ago and I think I got my first update. 4.2.1 Popped up on my phone. Notice said it was installed the 15th, even though this is the 17th.

4.2.1 is the newest OTA. It was first reported by a member of another forum just a week ago or so. It does not give you anything new; it is a precursor for future updates that will add new features.

One thing I did notice was my phone popped up "Low Fuel Find a Gas Station". I don't know if that is part of the update or not. It's the first time it's been that low since I purchased it. I wanted to try a tank of premium fuel for my trip to Charlotte next week, so I ran it lower than normal. 1000 mile round trip.

I received 4.2.1 this evening on my 23. The update seems to have borked something though as my remote functionality like locking my doors via the app now fails. It also isn’t updating my location. Any ideas?

I just checked mine (received the update on Thursday) and first attempt to lock seemed to not work as I didn't get a notice that it was locked. I went out to the garage and checked and found that it was locked. I then used the app to unlock it and received notice that it was unlocked followed by using the app to lock it again and this time I got the notice that it was locked.
