4.2.1.2 is out! Looks like they are addressing modem issues on this one. Hopefully this means my modem doesn't stop talking to the servers about once a month. I've done three battery disconnects so far and I've only had the truck since December '22.
My bed camera is no longer working whether I'm sitting in the driveway or while driving. It did it once before the 4.2.1 update while driving and observing the bed. It finally reset and worked again after a day or two. However, I noticed today it's not working at all. I rcvd the 4.2.1 update on the 18th, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Any insights?

No updates in the past 60 days, no updates in the queue.
There was an attempt to perform a manual update at the dealer on March 8, but that was unsuccessful. There was a PMI update done yesterday that was successful; not sure what that one does. It does, however, coincide with your SYNC history which is reporting that everything was installed yesterday. The optimistic guess is that now that your truck is communicating with Ford that you may eventually start getting the OTAs (in whatever timeframe Ford magically decides).

My bed camera coincidentally stopped working reliably after my dealer did the BC update many moons ago. (Are you getting the blue screen when accessing it?) Took it back in for that and they did the shop procedure for the pin test on the camera, it tested bad, they replaced it, and it's been solid ever since.

Yup - only shows the blue screen. I had the BCM update performed by the dealer back around the Holidays. All the other cameras work fine to include in-motion for the rear view and even the hitch view. Front view shuts off, of course, somewhere between 5 to 10 mph.

So I have tried all the battery charger and burning sage tricks, still no luck. My Ford Pass app says 2.8.1 is pending a download and Ford customer service says it failed months ago due to a low battery. I also checked my VIN here - https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/ and it says I am pending a software and map update. The system update check in the truck says that I am up to date even though I am not. I have tried both on and off Wi-Fi. Seems like a bigger issue. Bad modem? Any one seen this sort of issue before?
Fordpass App does not show "Activate" 2021 lariat powerboost
not sure if this is the right place but i searched all the forums and this looked the closest. we bought a 2021 Powerboost lariat with all the bells and whistles. (yes I tried uninstalling, and re-installing the app, yes i tried to master reset the Sync system) i scanned the VIN barcde with the app, and added our truck. however none of the connectivity functions or features work (wireless carplay, remote start, door lock / unlock, power tailgate, vehicle location) in fact the "activate" doesn't even show up on my app. inside the truck on the infotainment it tells me that i cannot enable "projected apps" and when i try to turn the toggle on it does not respond, my intelligent cruise will not turn on. I'm super frustrated and I call Ford pass and they keep telling me its been escalated please allow 3-5 days for a response (2 weeks ago). anyone else have a similar issue? how did you fix it? Thanks in advance FYI my 2020 synced up just fine, and my old 2021 powerboost XLT worked perfect as well
