Mine is still stuck. The last update I received is 2.7.4 in October 2022.

If you're that far into your OTA's, you are fortunately not stuck. Ford's OTA process is hot garbage and they haven't sent you another update yet.

What's in This Update?

Ford Power-Up 3.5.4 Get ready for some powerful convenience. (Note that you may have already received an earlier version of these updates but this release is an enhancement.) Advanced Dual Phone Access two phones at the same time without having to mess with the settings. You could, for example, easily access both phones for incoming calls, contacts, text messages, emails and more. Payload Limit Warning We fine-tuned the Onboard Scales function so that you'll receive a notification if your payload capacity has been reached even if other feature menus are occupying the screen. Digital Owner's Manual We made sure what you need to know is in there and easy to find. Go see it at Ford.com/support, in-vehicle or in the FordPass® App. Ongoing updates like this help you enjoy the best possible version of your truck.
3.5.4 update includes: Minor adjustment. Support for two Bluetooth phones simultaneously.

Is there any point in checking my VIN to see what is happening/happened with updates?

I find these threads interesting in that a GWM update would be necessary if the Hands-Free actually expires. I took delivery of my 2022 with a Hands-Free expiration date of Sep 10. Before that date, it was updated to Dec 10. When I went in for an oil change in Nov, I asked my SA about the pending expiration. He said they had no idea and I would need to deal directly with Ford. Fortunately, the Hands-Free expiration then updated to Apr 13, 2023. I guess that probably means my GWM is working fine - however, I'm disappointed the dealership had absolutely no idea if it were to have actually expired. Are these Hands-Free expirations dates tied at all to map updates? I'm not aware of ever getting any OTA updates other than 3.5.2 last Sep and a BC map update last Apr right before I took delivery.

Your question goes beyond my scope of knowledge. The one person I know that can fix this is not giving details as to what the problem is. There is a fix, but it is complicated and he does not want to tell people how to fix it themselves because you can apparently mess up your truck if you do something wrong. See the link below:

Thanks for the link - it was a good read. I've been fortunate with my expiration date automatically updating - at least up to now!

I'm also active on that forum, but must have missed that thread. He's been a big help to me on issues as have you and some others (e.g. @camattin & @RickBullotta ) on this forum who have access to things the rest of us can't see. My hat is off to all of you - Thanks & Cheers!

I purchased my truck (used) in spring of 2022. I don't recall ever seeing a sync update come through, and at one point I did setup wifi and automatic updates on my headunit, but I haven't checked it in a while. Is there a way to tell what version I have, and if it is the most recent? I haven't had any issues really at all with Sync4, but it is nice to know if I am running the latest version or not. My VIN is 1FTEW1EP4NFA08980. Thanks in advance!

That's because this thread is about issues that mostly affect early 2021 truck owners. Your truck was built with all of the updates already. The only one you may be missing is 3.5.2 which only prepares your truck for future updates, so you're not missing anything if you haven't gotten it. Something is wrong with Ford's website, so I can't check OTA statuses until it comes back online.

Thanks! I should have done a better job reading farther back to figure out that this was more geared to 2021 fords. I appreciate your helpful reply. I received the 3.5.2 update in September according to my ford online account, so I guess I am good to go.
