I found that I do have the Car Play full screen now.
Then your truck was built with at least 3.5.3 on it already.

If that's the case, it may not be as expensive to add as I thought, but it will cost more than the $365 credit you got on your window sticker for sure.

I switched out the speakers to Morells. Would that throw a code? Also added small kicker key amp.
It is very possible that is what is causing the codes. I added an amp and two under seat subs to mine, but everything else is untouched. My installer tapped into the factory amp to pull a signal for the amp for the subs, so as far as my truck knows, everything is as it came from factory.
I'm an extreme newb here but i've read pages of posts and was hoping someone could run my VIN (1FTFW1EDXMFB36102) and possibly give me some insight on my vehicle software.
I bought a used '21 Platinum (<7k miles) that was built in March of '21. It has the Active 2.0 Prep. I tried to schedule updates through a nearby dealer and was told the line was long and they would contact me within the next three weeks or so to bring my car in to leave it for a day or two.
Truck says:
I've tried the battery charger/brake trick the past couple nights and have had my downloads set to automatic and scheduled downloads for every morning at 1am. I have poor cell service at my house so I have the truck connected to wifi and it's reporting high signal strength.
Any suggestions?
Any chance someone could please check my VIN 1FTFW1CD4MFB76033, for updates?
2.8.3 was sent to you on 9/23, but it never downloaded due to a server/cloud issue. Most likely a problem on Ford's side at the time it was rolled out to you. Since then, you got 3.5.2 sent to you on 10/12, but I do not see that 2.8.3 has been pushed out to you again since 9/23.
[I get the battery charger but what is the brake truck and what should it accomplish?

.I can only see 60 days into OTA history of trucks, and I see you got the two updates you get before 3.5.2. Also, you have a recent software version of Sync, so your truck is not stuck. You just have to be patient and wait for updates to get pushed to you or invest the money and time needed to do it yourself.

You're good to go. You had 2.8.3 back in August and you got 3.5.2 on 10/12. You are only missing 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 which very few people have gotten. No need to worry......you're pretty much up to date.

Just because you have updates turned on doesn't mean you're going to get one. Ford sends them out randomly. I got 3.5.2 six weeks ago and am still waiting for 3.5.3.
