Honestly they could do the Blue Cruise update and still get paid, IF they wanted to, even though the FSA for Blue Cruise programming expired back on 10/3. There is a TSB for the SYNC system for various issues that has you update the APIM, GWM, TCU IPC AND IPMA(which will force the CCM and CMR modules to be updated as well. These are all the modules that must be fully updated to enable bluecruise.) TSB 22-2226. It would likely be an all day thing, the last one I did on a Mustang Mach-E to enable bluecruise took about 8.5 hours to finish the 22 or so module updates I did.

Hello! Could someone run my VIN and let me know where I’m at on updates. I just received the 2 lettered updates, but before that I went all summer without an update. I have an appointment at the dealer Nov 28 and want to be prepared with some info. Thanks!

Your truck has Sync version 22177, so I don't think you are stuck. I can't see that far back into your history to see if 2.8.1 was sent to you after you got 2.7.4, but if you got the two small patches (which I see you did), then I see no indication that your truck is stuck. Your problem seems to be that the OTA gods don't like you. Because your truck is not stuck on an old Sync version and you are getting some OTAs, the dealers should not have an issue updating your truck. Once Jesse got me past the 2.7.3 update that my truck was stuck in, I did the rest of the updates myself and I had zero experience with FDRS. It was time consuming, but easy. Since your truck is not broken, I don't see why an experienced Ford tech would have an issue with your truck.
If you decide to do it yourself, the license you need is only $50. It is the Mongoose ODBII tool that will set you back $550 unless you can find one used on eBay or here in the forums.

The Mongoose you spoke of will update all the modules? Like the FDRS software. Where do you get the license?
