Here's a funny. My dealer did the 21G01 update back on May 10 and most everything was good (other than it brought to light my bed camera was flaky). But even though BC was functional in the truck, on the Sync screen it had the September (October?) expiration. When I checked connected services online it acted like BC wasn't currently enabled (I couldn't even subscribe).
I call the connected services support line, explain the situation. A few days later (w/ no callback to let me know anything) the connected services page now said BC was available and was happy to take my money. Just hadn't made the time to call back in to ask where did my free year go.
Well, after getting both of the most recent "patches", I got a notice from the FP app that BC is now available in my truck (no **** Sherlock! :-D ). Here I was hoping my one year trial would start from today... but sure enough, they back-dated it so that my trial expires May 11. Ah well, at least everything is now in sync (bad, bad pun intended).
These past few days, I've been checking everyone's truck and not my own. As it turns out, I got the two updates yesterday and the day before. So, these updates are supposedly preparation for future updates or patches for 2.8.2 & 2.8.3, yet the last update that got sent to me was for 2.7.3 and that failed. I don't understand how or even why I got them if I'm on older software. lol
Also, based on the time stamp, it seems they happened as soon as I got home and parked and my truck picked up the wifi connection.
Edit: I just noticed I have my auto updates set for midnight, and both of these came in and installed well before the scheduled time.
The auto update schedule are only for vehicle inhibit updates. You can either select and tell them to "Install Now" when a vehicle inhibit update is pending, or it will auto install at your scheduled time. Both the updates in question says Vehicle Inhibit: No, so they will just install after the truck is next shut down if the download is complete.

I've been stuck on 2.7.2 forever. Any chance you can check what's going on @rugedraw ? Vin 1FTFW1E85MFB61119
I got the 22-PU0727-VI-FXA a several days ago. Looks like today I got 22-PU0706-SCH-POPA today. Last regular firmware I received was 2.7.1 a couple of weeks back, followed by the Trailer Brake update (even though the dealer had done the recall).

2021 Job 1
Mine were PU0727-FXB and PU0707-POPB. I am wondering like others what the difference is between the A vs B packages.
