Software Updates
I have no idea what that means or why the update was canceled. I am just reading directly from Ford's website. I have seen that error before, but I have no clue why it happens. After that, you got one of the two small updates you get before you get 3.5.2 and that one went through. You are still missing a lot of updates to be up to date, but be happy you are getting them.
That's interesting, I did receive an OTA on Oct 5th but supposedly nothing major. I then had it in at the dealer on Oct 10 because the screen was going blank and they told me it was behind on updates which would also fix the screen. They kept it over night to do them (as part of TSB 22-2226) and told me it was up to date but no BlueCruise. Based on what you saw it still isn't up to date?

So had my truck in again today, for lack of s/w udates, no ota and stuck on sync 4 v4. 0.20301 seems that they updated to sync 4 v4. 0.21146 was told I was up to date with this update. I haven't notice anything different. I hope I will get updated Ota. I did ask them to update me with all new updates but I doubt they did. 1FTFW1E55MFC11023
My truck is a 2021 with a blend date of 8/24/21. (I believe that makes it a Job 1) Vin# 1FTFW1E83MKE54234.
I was slowly receiving OTA updates and my last update received was the two Priority Updates in the middle of September. The last Power-Up update was 2.7.4 in the middle of June. I have been following this thread for over a year, and was trying to be patient for Blue Cruise to finally get here. I called Fords "Over The Air Team" and discussed the lack of updates. The lady there looked up my truck info and said that she couldn't do anything about my truck, and that I would have to take it in to the dealer. She said that since no more updates were happening, that in itself showed that there was a failure. She said that she could see that Ford was not sending me any more updates. I mentioned to her that the BlueCruise program is set to expire, and she gave me a case number and put a note in my file.
I took my truck in to the Ford dealer prior to the vacation for an oil change and discussed the Blue Cruise. The earliest appointment I could get for the Blue Cruise is at the end of November. They had no info, other than they would take a look.
All systems on my truck work nearly flawlessly, but no updates. My "update now" buttons are not grayed out, just no updates.
I've been following this thread for over a year, and know that many of the dealers have problems with the updates, sometimes bricking the system, days/weeks/months in the shop etc. I'm leery of my truck coming back worse than it is know. On the other hand, I do want BlueCruise, cameras in motion etc, and the future updates.
I followed Addabob and Rugedraw and others through their trials and tribulations.
I'd love to hear from those of you that went through this with the dealer.......successful or not, and thoughts on whether I should go the dealer route, or get the license and the mongoose to do it myself which I'm not too excited about. (It's also likely that If I do it myself, I will have to pay the $600 subscription cost.) Does it seem that the dealers are finally getting caught up with the information needed to do these updates? I don't see as much in this thread about people not getting their BlueCruise anymore, so maybe I'm the last one that doesn't have it?
If I go the dealer route, I know I'll have to deal with them on the cost of the program.
Any thought would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I have the issue been to the dealer 6 times now for updates. In shop right now , dealer say Al up dates are done, yet my Sync is v21037 no OTA since I purchased the truck in Aug 21. I have never received anything on the Ford Pass about updates. Always shows Software is up to date. I was told today by the service manager that they will not do any more updates on my truck as it is up to date. Yet a screen shot of the scan shows at least three downloads available. what’s worst is the Service Manager will not even look at the truck info screen to see version number. Does anyone know what the latest Nav version should be? I am working with Ford to see if the can find out why no OTA updated and getting my local Ford Dealer to fix issues. On a side note what is the latest FDRS version the dealer should be using mine has 33,5.1. Just trying to figure where the problems might be!
[QUOTE=over2000lbs;7314674]The latest version of FDRS is 33.5.3. You got a VIN I can plug into PTS? and what screenshot?
VIN: 1FTFW1E81MKD99198
The dealer took a screen shot said they couldn’t print
